Buying Travel Tickets

Тема: В аеропорту.

Підтема: Придбання квитків.

Мета :

1. Освітня: ознайомити учнів з новою лексикою теми, активізувати ії.

2. Практична: оволодіти знаннями про особливості спілкування при купівлі квитків, вміти уточнити інформацію, вміти дістатися до аеропорту.

3. Розвиваюча: сприяти формуванню вмінь і навичок добирати ресурси відповідно до ситуації мовлення, розвивати навички діалогічного мовлення, техніку читання та аудіювання.

4. Виховна: виховувати потребу вивчати англійську мову, вміти підтримати розмову при купівлі квитків.

Обладнання: дошка, ноутбук, телевізор, картки з діалогами.

Хід заняття :

1. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення.

1. Привітання.

2.               Повідомлення теми та мети.

T: And at today’s lesson you’ll learn the new words and expressions of how to get to the airport and use your vocabulary for buying tickets at the booking office. By the end of the lesson you will be able to talk with the cashier at the airport.

-  I’m going to Great Britain.

-  I shall be missing you.

-  Good-bye. Keep in touch.

-  Good-bye.

4). - The meeting is over. See you later!

-  Good-bye. My best regards to everybody at home.

5.               Уведення в іншомовну атмосферу.

1). T: Imagine yourself at the London Heathrow Airport.

 London Heathrow Airport is a major international airport in West London, England, United Kingdom. 

The motto of the airport: “Making every journey better”.

T: How do I get to the airport?

T: We can get to the airport by train or by underground,

 by bus  (by coach),

by taxi, by car,

by bicycle

Pay attention to the phrases: They’re at the airport. They are travelling by bird. They’re flying. They love to travel.

•                      - Would you like single or return (Would you like one way ticket or a round trip?)?
•                      - I’d like economy return a day flight, please. How much is it?
•                      - 500 $, please.

4. Розвиток умінь мовлення.

A). T: Translate the sentences given in Ukrainian and act out the following conversation.

1.               A: Good morning. Can I help you?

B: Мені потрібен квиток до Сан Діего, на 31 грудня.

А: Would you like a day or a night flight?

B: Я би хотів летіти денним рейсом бізнес класа.

A: Would you like one way ticket or  a round trip?

B: Мені потрібен квиток туди і назад.

А: It’s 1150 $, please.

B: Дякую, до побачення.

2.               A: Добрий день. Чим можу допомогти?

B:  I want a ticket on a plane to London.

A: Bам потрібен квиток в одну сторону чи туди і назад?

B: I’d like return tickets, a direct flight. How much is it?

A: 735 $, будь ласка.

3.               A: What can I do for you?

B: Мені потрібен квиток до Річмонда на 15 листопада.

A: What class?

B: Економ класом.

А: Fine. What is your name, sir?

B: ……….

A: Would you like single or return?

B: В одну сторону, будь ласка.

B). T: Make up a dialogue between a cashier and a passenger using the new  words and phrases.

3. Заключна частина уроку.

1). T: Put down your homework. Make up a dialogue on the theme of our lesson.

2). T: Today we spoke about how to get to the airport and how to buy tickets at the booking office.
