 Цілі:

•                                                                       практична: формування навичок монологічного та діалогічного мовлення за темою «Computers in our life», опрацювання лексичних одиниць, розвиток умінь аудіювати текст, оволодіння мовними засобами для здійснення іншомовного спілкування;
•                                                                       освітня: збагачення духовного світу особистості, отримання та розширення знань з теми;
•                                                                       розвивальна: розвиток фонематичного слуху, мовної здогадки, логічного викладу думок та загальнокультурних умінь спілкуватися з іншими людьми, розвиток творчих здібностей учнів;
•                                                                       виховна: виховання поваги до традицій свого народу, зацікавленості в розширенні своїх знань, досягнення ситуації успіху кожного співучасника творчого процесу та його максимальної самореалізації.

Тип уроку: комбінований

Обладнання: комп’ютер, мультимедійна дошка,  навчальні диски з записом текстів, підручник, робочий зошит, словник.

 

Хід уроку

І. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовної інформації.

Dear pupils, today we are having an unusual lesson, we are having guests. I believe that you are ready to show your good knowledge of English. Be more  active, do not be afraid of making mistakes.

1. Організаційний момент

How are you?

б) Бесіда з черговим

2. Мовленнєва зарядка

Бесіда про  погоду

- What season is it now?

- What month is it now?

-What is the weather like today? Describe, please, today’s weather.

 T: Let's practise the sound [W] and remember the poem “Weather”

T: And what would you like to do in such kind of weather?

P: - I'd like to communicate with my friends with the help of computer.

P: - If the weather is bad, we can play computer games, watch TV programs, or read an interesting book or magazine.

T: I also would like to use my computer for different things.

3. Вводна бесіда за темою уроку

T: Today we'll continue discussing the importance of using computers. Are you ready? Let's start.

 T: At this lesson you'll

- repeat the key words:

- share your opinions and impressions about using a computer;

- listen to the people conversation, using important words and phrases to aid comprehension;

- read about information technology;

- practise giving advice;

- learn about conditionals.

For the first, let's read a poem about computer.

My Computer, My Friend

It seems that my computer
Is becoming my best friend,
We talk from early morn' and through the day,
I tell her my ambitions
And my many thoughts and dreams,
She listens to the things I have to say.

T: Look at the monitor, read the quotation and comment it.

T: Make up the cinquaint to the word 'computer'. Do you remember that there are 5 lines in it?Let's remember them.

P1: First line – 1 word – a noun

P2: Second line -2 adjectives describing the noun.

P3: Third line – 3 verbs

P4: Fourth line – four words expressing the feeling

P5: Fifth line – another word for the title.

T: Well done! Computer is … You also told that computer is an invention. And do you agree with this proverb?              Necessity is the mother of invention

 

 

II. Основна частина уроку.

1. Актуалізація опорних знань за темою «Computers in our life» з метою підготовки до сприйняття теми уроку.

1) For the first let's remember and repeat the parts of computer.

2) Виконання впр.1/96

Look at the task A of this exercise and make up a short dialogue.

3) Читання статтті з журналу.

4) Перевірка прочитаного за допомогою прослуховування тексту.

Go to the blackboard and write the assosiations to the word 'computer'

Look at the crossword and complete it. Write down the missing words in your copybooks.

Write a short article (120-150 words) on one of these topics:

1. If you could study on a computer or in a library, which would you choose?

2. Are computers important for you at home and at school? What would you do without them?
