Мета: продовжувати знайомство з темою «Музика», сучасними виконавцями, удосконалювати навички роботи з текстом, ввести нові ЛО, вчити їх правильно артикулювати, формувати лексичні навички, навички читання, усного мовлення і аудіювання;

розвивати мовну здогадку, логічне мислення, оперативну пам’ять, здатність порівнювати, класифікувати, узагальнювати; виховувати зацікавленість у розширенні своїх знань, формувати терпиме відношення і повагу до думки і стилю життя інших людей, виховувати позитивно-налаштовану особистість, естетичні смаки.

Очікувані результати: на кінець уроку учні володітимуть інформацією про сучасних виконавців, дискутуватимуть про них та порівнюватимуть; оволодіють навичками роботи з автентичними матеріалами; закріплять знання з вживання пасивного стану дієслів у реченні.

Обладнання: підручники, мультимедійне забезпечення, комп’ютер, картки  із зображенням композиторів, аудіо запис пісні.

Інтегровані змістовні лінії: сталий розвиток, «Здоров`я та безпека» (наводить приклади впливу музики на здоров’я та настрій людини).

Хід уроку

І. Організаційний момент. Введення в іншомовну атмосферу

1. Greeting - Good morning dear friends! Nice to see you today! We are going to have very interesting lesson on the topic "Music”.

2. Warming up. T: Dear students! We have already learnt a lot of facts about music. And now I want you to make a mind map and tell us: “Why people listen to the music”

3. Aim: So can you tell me what are we going to talk about during this lesson?

1) Volodymyr Horovyts.

A concert pianist Volodymyr Horovyts (1903-1989), born in Kyiv, Ukraine, gained fame in the 1920s with his recital tours in Russia. He first performed in London and New York City in 1928, where he was enthusiastically received, and in 1939 he moved to the United States. Known for his finger speed and power, Horovyts specialized in performing the music of Hungarian composer Franz Liszt and Russian composers Sergey Rachmaninoff and Aleksander Scriabin.

2) Sviatoslav Teofilovych Richter

Sviatoslav Teofilovych Richter (1915-1997), Ukrainian pianist, considered one of the finest pianists of the 20^th century. He was born in Zhytomyr, Ukraine. At the age of 15 Richter became the conductor for Odesa opera and ballet companies. Primarily a self –taught pianist, he gave his first concert in Odesa in 1934. In 1945 he won a prestigious state musical competition.

Richter performed less frequently than most professional pianists, partly out of stage fright and partly out of a strong dislike for travel. In his unusually large repertoire, he showed particular affinity for works by the German composer Ludwig van Beethoven and works by modern Russian composers, especially the sonatas of Sergey Prokofiev.

3) Hrehor Piatyhorsky

Hrehor Piatyhorsky (1903-1976), world-famous cellist, born in Dnipro and trained in Moscow and in Leipzig. During the 1920s he became internationally known and in 1929 he settled in the United States. He is famous for his performance of the concertos by the Russian composer Sergey Prokofiev and the German composer Paul Hindemith, and for chamber music performances with the Russian-American violinist Jascha Heifetz and the Polish-American pianist Arthur Rubinstein.
