Мета: продовжувати знайомство з темою «Музика», музичними стилями та напрямками, удосконалювати навички роботи з текстом, ввести нові ЛО на позначення музичних інструментів, вчити їх правильно артикулювати, відпрацьовувати навички вживання пасивного стану, формувати лексичні навички, навички читання, усного мовлення і аудіювання; розвивати мовну здогадку, логічне мислення, оперативну пам’ять, здатність порівнювати, класифікувати, узагальнювати; виховувати зацікавленість у розширенні своїх знань, формувати терпиме відношення і повагу до думки і стилю життя інших людей, виховувати позитивно-налаштовану особистість, естетичні смаки

Очікувані результати: на кінець уроку учні поглиблять свої знання про музичні стилі та напрямки, володітимуть інформацією про музичні інструменти, зможуть їх розрізняти; складатимуть діалоги, вживаючи нові лексичні одиниці; закріплять знання з вживання пасивного стану дієслів у реченні.

Обладнання: підручник з англійської мови А. Несвіт 8 клас, аудіозаписи, ноутбук, картки, опорний конспект

Хід уроку

І. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення

1. Greeting. Good morning dear pupils! Nice to see you! Today we are going to have very interesting lesson on the topic "Music instruments". We’ll speak about music styles and instruments, feelings, revise the vocabulary and learn some new words, practice making short dialogues, listen to the opinion of the other people talking about music, train some grammar, work with text. First, we’ll have a short warming up.

As you know we can hear music almost everywhere. Different people prefer to listen to different musical style. Share please what emotions and thoughts does this word awake in you?

1. Checking the homework. Ok. Very well, I’ve heard a lot thing connecting with our topic. And now I hope you are ready to present your hometask.

2. Listening. Thank you very much for your interesting information. As you know music may be different. Listen to some brief information and try to guess what type of music it is.

1. Some people say it is difficult to understand this music. But try to listen to it. It is played by big orchestras. If you listen to this music often enough and attentively, you will enjoy Mozart and Beethoven. (Classical music)

2. A kind of popular music originally from Jamaica, with a strong regular beat. Bob Marley popularized it in 1970s. (Reggae)

3. This music is popular mostly with young people. It is performed by modern electronic instruments. There are hard and heavy-metal styles. (Rock)

4. This music lives for centuries. Every nation has its own national music and dance ensembles. (Folk)

5. It is a musical style where the singer speaks or shouts the words. (Rap)

6. It is an American style of music. It was created by black Americans. The constant elements are improvisation. (Jazz)

7. You can hear this music every day and everywhere. There are a lot of musical groups who perform this kind of music. (Pop)

3. Very good work. I see that you a know a lot about musical instruments and now let’s talk about musical instruments. Does anybody can play any instrument? Would you like to play any one?
