I. The beginning of the lesson
1. Greeting.
T: Get ready for the lesson, please. Prepare all your necessary things for the lesson.
Good morning! Sit down, please.
2. Introducing the theme and aims.
(The demonstration of slides during the whole lesson).
T: The topic of our lesson is "Environmental problems" .Today we are going to discuss the main environmental problems endangering us & the solutions to them. You’ll have the chance:
Today we are going to work in groups. Each group must follow next rules :

Each group has a leader. At the end of each task the leader of your group must decide who was the best and give him or her this card.
3. Warming up.

II. The main part of the lesson.
1. Check on homework.
T: Environment is everything around us: houses and trees, rivers and lakes, hills and mountains, woods and wildlife. But our planet is in great danger. It is suffering from many environmental problems. Have a look at these pictures. What problems do these pictures show us?
For today each group must prepare a short report about one of these problems. Now, let's check your hometask .
2. Listening.
T:The problems of environment are important all over the world. The British people suffer from different ecological problems too. Let’s watching the video about environment in Great Britain: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cTucPNu2YTE

T: Listen to the text attentively. Then we are going to do some task.
Now, say if the sentences are true or false. If the sentence is true, show a red card,
if the sentence is false, show a blue card.

3. Grammar.
T: Unfortunately, our environment has many problems. But we must do something to save our planet. There are many ways to help our nature.
Let's create environmental rules. All these rules include different modal verbs.

Take the sheets of paper (worksheets) on your desks and start doing the task.
