Тема уроку: «Food and drink»
Цілі уроку:
Практична: 1) Ознайомити учнів з новими ЛО із теми «Food and drink».
2) Автоматизувати дії учнів з новими ЛО із теми «Food and drink».
3) Навчити учнів слухати та читати короткий текст-розповідь «Power Food».
4) Навчити учнів складати міні-монологи описи їжі.
5) Навчити учнів складати міні-діалоги розпитування за темою «Ice Cream flavours ».
6) Навчити учнів складати міні-діалоги описи за темою «My favorite food».
Освітня: 1) Ознайомити учнів з особливостями прийомів їжі у Великій Британії.
2) Поглибити знання учнів про культуру їжі.
3)Розширення філологічного кругозору учнів.
Розвиваюча: 1)Розвивати зорову, слухову, довільну увагу та пам’ять учнів при слуханні та читанні тексту.
2)Розвивати логічне мислення.
3) Розвивати навички антиципації учнів.
4) Розвивати мотивацію учнів до навчання.
Виховна: 1) Виховувати в учнів культуру харчування.
2) Виховувати в учнів повагу до співрозмовника.
Обладнання: аудіозапис тексту «Power Food»; аудіозапис нових ЛО; ілюстрації їжі; тестове завдання закритого типу перехресного вибору на семантизацію нових ЛО з даної теми; вербальна опора у вигляді підстановчої таблиці закритого типу; стікери з назвами їжі («Гра Крокодил»), Презентація Power Point.
Схематичний план уроку:
- Початок уроку. Організація класу.– 5 хв.
- Ознайомлення з новими ЛО. – 6 хв.
- Автоматизація дій учнів з новими ЛО. – 7 хв.
- Складання міні-монологів описів їжі. – 5 хв.
- Cкладання міні-діалогів розпитувань за темою «Ice Cream flavours». – 7 хв.
- Пауза для релаксації (гра «Noughts and Crosses») – 3 хв.
- Слухання та читання тексту «Power Food». – 4 хв.
- Складання міні-діалогів описів за темою «My favorite food». – 4 хв.
- Пояснення домашнього завдання. – 2 хв.

T: Today, we are going to talk about food and drink. And now, let`s imagine, that we are travelling together to a deserted island. Aaaaand, you are allowed to take with you only those things, that start with letters that your name contains. L – Latte I – Ice Cream L - Lollipop I – Italian Pizza A - Apple So, the task is to write the name of things which you`ll take with you. Try to think about food. However, you also may write other things. You have 2 min. to think. T- Now, let`s check It. Who would like to be the first?
T: Now, please, let`s open the page 67. While you are opening, think about this question: How many meals do you know? S1- 3 meals – breakfast, lunch and dinner. S2 – Moreover, supper, snack … T: What is your favourite meal of the day? Why?
T: Now, let`s find out some new words for you about food. Listen and repeat!
T: Now, look at the screen. Your task is to match words with pictures they correspond to.

T: Good job! Now, let`s do the next task in your worksheets. Tell me please. What can you see there? On the picture? S: Ice Cream!!! T: Yeee! You are right. There is Ice Cream. Actually, there are many flavours of It. Who knows what is the Ukrainian for «flavor?» S: Аромат, присмак, смак.
T: Right you are! Well done! Now, let`s read these flavours.
T: Good job! Now, your task is to discuss the Ice Cream flavour. Follow the Example under the table.
T: Good job, guys! Now, let`s relax a bit! Let`s play the game «cross and noughts». You`ve got some worksheets. Decide, who is cross and who is nought. Play the game!
T: Now, we are going to read the text «Power Food ». Tell me please, what does It mean? S: T: Well done! Now, you are going to read the text about It and find out more info. T: Brilliant! Now, our last challenge is to play the game! You`ve got the paper with а word. Do not show It to your classmates. You should try to explain the word without naming It. And your classmates should guess It. Let us try!
