Тема:      Видатні українські письменники.  Шкільна бібліотека.

 

Мета:       Розвивати навики усного мовлення.

                  Автоматизувати навики вживання лексики з теми.

                  Практикувати учнів в аудіюванні з метою максимально

                 точного розуміння інформації.

                  Готувати учнів до самостійного висловлювання на основі

                  змісту прочитаного   тексту.

                  Розвивати навики письма.

Обладнання:портрети С. Скляренка та Т.Г.Шевченка,плакат з

                   прислів’ям ,картки для самостійної роботи(НО1),(НО2),

                   картки для роботи в парах(НО3),картки для роботи в

                   групах(НО4).

                                                       The Writer

Semen Sklyarenko is the noted Ukrainian writer and historian.

       He was born on September 26,1901 in the village of Prokhorovka in Cherkasky oblast.After finishing Zolotoniska gymnasium he worked

as a librarian in his native village.Later on he headed the regional De-

partment of Education.

       At this period of his life Semen made his first efforts in writing.

       In 1921 he moved to Kyiv to become a student of Politechnical Institute,but his study was interrupted by conscription.After demobili-

zation in 1924 he worked in Moskovska oblast.In 1926 he returned back

to Ukraine,where he continued to write.He worked as a journalist.

      As a war correspondent he took part in World War II.He described

heroism of Ukrainian people in his sketches,essays,stories(The Front and

the Rear).

       His historical novels Sviatoslav (1959)and Volodymyr(1962) by

rights are considered to be the top level of his creative work.His heritage

implemented in brilliant characters and wonderful Ukrainian language.

        Semen Sklyarenko died on March 7, 1962.

                                   Taras Shevchenko

Taras Shevchenko (1814-1861) is outstanding Ukrainian poet,artist and thinker.His first collection of verse,Kobzar(1840),marked a new stage

in the development of Ukrainian literature.His poem,,Kateryna”,

,,Haidamaky”,drama,,Nazar Stodolya”(1841-43),collection of verse

,,Three Summers”(1843-45),also,,The Women Servant”, ,,Heretic and My Testament”(1845)are mainly focused on the theme of struggle against tsarist autocracy.The dissolution of the Brotherhood of Sts.Cyril

and Methodius,arrest and exile failed to bend the poet’s iron will.Verse

written in exile appeared as the Barracks series.It was also exile that Shevchenko created his unmatched intimate lyrical pieces,also historical

works and prose writing in Russian,based on antiselfdom poems under the same titles.Shevchenko became a poet of national recognition.He is

a national pride of the Ukrainian people and he belongs to all mankind.

His works are translated into many languages of the world.

,,Testament”,for example is translated into 41 languages.
