Тема: «Велика Британія: Лондон»

Підтема: «Карта Лондону»

Мета:

Практична: - навчити учнів розуміти на слух і при читанні та вживати у мовленні лексичні одиниці на понад фразовому рівні в нових варіативних ситуаціях;

ознайомити з новим лексичним матеріалом за темою уроку;
тренувати учнів у вживанні прийменників місця (in the middle of, in front of, behind, near, on the left of, on the right of);
розвивати навички аудіювання;
розвивати навички монологічного та діалогічного мовлення;
вчитиучнівдобувати, аналізувати та використовуватиотримануінформаціюдляреалізаціїкомунікативних задач.

Освітня:

зацікавитиучнівкультурним та історичнимспадком народу, моваякоговивчається.
поглибити знання учнів про визначні місця Лондону та розташування їх на карті.

Розвиваюча:

розвивати комунікативні навички, увагу, пам'ять, критичне мислення, здогадку;

Етап 1. Початок уроку

1)Організація класу.

Мета:підготовка класу до роботи, повідомлення теми, мети.

Прийом: вітання, бесіда з класом

2)Мовленнєвa зарядка.

Мета: налаштування слухового апарату, введення в іншомовну атмосферу.

Прийом: відповіді на питання вчителя, бесіда з класом, гра.

T: Good afternoon, children!

P: Good afternoon!

T: Sit down, please.

T: Today we continue working on our topic «Great Britain: London». We will travel around the city using a map. By the end of our lesson you should be able(слайд 2):

to use actively our vocabulary;
to use the map of London and plan your sightseeing tour;
speak about London’s places of interests
to use prepositions of time ;

T: Before we start tell me what is the full name of The UK? (Слайд3)

P:It is The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

T: Where is it situated? What countries does it consist of?

T: Now let’s play a game. Look at the map. We are in London. Our guests and I are having a tour around London. You are the guides. Tell us about places of interest we will pass by.(Слайд 5-14)

First of all open your exercise books and write down today’s day and date. Write down the topic Prepositions of Place (you can see on the board). Say after me. What does it mean? Note down the information.(Слайд15)

3) T: Look at the map.

Is the Tower Bridge behind the Tower of London?

Is Big Ben to the right of Westminster Abbey?

Is the London Eye in front of The Houses of Parliament?

Where is the Buckingham Palace?

Мета: навчити учнів об’єднувати ЗМ в одну понад фразову єдність

Прийом: робота в парах.

T: Work in pairs. You are in London. One of you is a tourist and one of you lives in London. Tourist should ask the question about the place he is looking for. Use a map and example in ex.6 p.125 in your books.
