Урок "My Room" (3 клас)

Тема: My room. Моя кімната.

Мета: практикувати вживання лексики до теми в усному та писемному мовленні;

навчати читати тексти з повним розумінням;

повідомляти про місцезнаходження предметів;

навчити описувати кімнату;

виховувати позитивне ставлення до вивчення англійської мови.

Обладнання: тематичні картки із зображеннями меблів,

роздатковий матеріал з текстами для читання,

картки з написаними прийменниками місця,

зображення кімнати з меблями,

малюнок дл вірша,

іграшка з коробкою,

відео для аудіювання та фізкультхвилинки,

підручник А. Несвіт для 3 класу.

Хід уроку.

І. Початок уроку.

Greeting.

Good morning! I`m glad to see you. How are you? – I`m fine. / I`m OK. / I`m so-so etc.

Warmer.

Where are you from? – I`m from Varva.

Do you live in the flat or the house? – I live in the house.| I live in the flat.

What rooms do you have in your flat or house? - I have got a living room, a bedroom a hall and a kitchen. Etc.

(Вчитель роздає Handout 1.) Now you will watch a video. What rooms did you hear in the song? Listen to the song twice.

Повідомлення завдань уроку.

Сьогодні ми повторимо слова до теми, складатимемо речення, будемо описувати кімнату.

Let`s recite a poem.

A little mouse is in the house.

A little cat is on the mat.

A little fox is in the box.

A little frog is on the log.

( Вірш читають з опорою на малюнок, тому діти легко перекладають вірш рідною мовою. Вірш читають групою, індивідуально, за бажанням вивчають напам`ять.)

Now answer the questions.

Where is the fox? Where is the mouse? Where is the frog? Where is the cat?

Pronunciation drill.

Let`s read the words from the blackboard:

bench – chest, chess – chin, check – chicken, champ – cherry, chap – chill, chair – armchair, chat – chuck, chip – chop, march – charm.

II. Основна частина уроку.

Vocabulary practice (e. g. a bed, a sofa, a clock, a TV set, a bookcase, a chair, a wardrobe, a cupboard, a carpet, a mirror etc. )

Вчитель демонструє картки із малюнками до теми і запитує, учні дають короткі, а потім повні відповіді.

Look at the pictures.

Is this a sofa?

Is this an armchair?

Is this a TV set? - Yes, it is. It`s a sofa. / No, it isn`t. It`s not an armchair. It`s a table. Etc.

Vocabulary/grammar revision: повторення прийменників in, on, at, under, behind, above, next to.

Гра “ Where is the mouse?” Розмістивши певним чином іграшку стосовно великої коробки, вчитель запитує: Where is the mouse? Учні по черзі відповідають: It is on the box. /It is behind the box. / It is above the box. etc

Physical warm-up. Stand up, please. Let`s sing a song with movements.

Speaking preparation. Let`s make up sentences. Складання речень за схемою, що розміщена на дошці або екрані ( див. Handout 2). Діти складають речення за зразком усно, надають український переклад за необхідності.

Writing.And now let`s write. Write down at least 3 sentences looking at the blackboard. You have 3 minutes for this. (Учні по черзі зачитують складені ними речення.)

Reading. Удосконалення навичок читання та перекладу.

Read and translate the texts into Ukrainian in chain. ( див. Додаток2.)

Which text is about the house? Which text is about the flat?

Speaking practice. Look at the picture Handout 4 and describe the room. It`s a competition. (Визначаються 2 або 3 команди, за кожне правильне речення – 1 бал.) What can you see in the room?

Учні описують малюнок, використовуючи структури I can see a … , The … is in/ on/above/behind/under/next to the … .

Визначаються переможці.

III. Завершальний етап уроку.

Summarizing.

Отже, що ми робили на сьогоднішньому уроці? Чому навчилися?

Homework. Saying goodbye.

Your home task is to draw your room and describe it in 4-5 sentences.
