7. Post-listening activity.
Match each photograph with part of the letter. Read it.
Mark the sentences true or false. Correct the false sentences.
8. Grammar work. Now we’re going to revise the Past Continuous Tense. We form it with was/were and the main verb with the –ing suffix. E.g. I was writing a letter at 1 o’clock last Suturday.We use this tense for an action which was in progress at a stated time in the past. We do not know when the action started or finished.
What were these people doing at 4 o’clock yesterday? Make up sentences as in the example.
