Тема: Пори року та погода

Мета:

практична:

• активувати та систематизувати вивчений матеріал, удосконалювати вміння вести бесіду у зв’язку з ситуацією.
• повторити і закріпити слова до теми «Погода» в усному і писемному мовленні;
• поповнити знання учнів по темі «Погода. Пори року»;
• розвивати вміння описувати погоду;

 

освітня:

• практикувати учнів в усному мовленні за темою «Пори року»;
• формувати та вдосконалювати комунікативні навички та вміння учнів,
• вдосконалювати навички в аудіюванні ,читання в слух за темою ;
• активізувати лексичний та граматичний матеріал,
• прилучати учнів до природи, її змін за порами року;
• розширювати освітній кругозір учнів.
• навчити учнів робити усне повідомлення за темою;

 

розвиваюча:

• розвивати навички письма, говоріння, читання, аудіювання;
• розвивати мовну і слухову пам’ять;
• розвивати навички всіх видів мовної діяльності, пізнавальної діяльності учнів, розвивати увагу і творчу уяву;
• Розвивати мовленнєву реакцію учнів, пізнавальні здібності, мовленнєву реакцію та готовність школярів до комунікації.
• розвивати та вдосконалювати навички сприйняття іншомовного матеріалу.

• виховувати ввічливе ставлення та любов до природи, учити сприймати  красу кожної пори року, бачити та розуміти зміни у природі.
• виховувати спостережливість за погодніми умовами;
• виховувати інтерес до вивчення іноземної мови.

Обладнання: Підручник, зошит, комп'ютер, проектор, мультимедійна презентація, аудіофайли, роздатковий матеріал, малюнки, карта, написи, граматичні і лексичні схеми, аудіозапис, відеозапис.

 Привітання.

        T : Good morning, pupils.

Ps: Good morning, teacher.

T: I’m glad to see you. How are you today?

Ps: We are fine, thank you. And how are you?

T:  I am fine, too, thanks.

ІІ. Brainstorming

II. Уведення в іншомовну атмосферу.

T: But today we have an unusual lesson. There are some guests here. Let’s greet them with our favourite song. Good morning!(Song)

 T:. Well, I see you’re in a good mood today. So, don’t be shy. Let’s begin our lesson.

     Today we’ll continue to speak about Seasons and   weather and get to know more useful and interesting things. You ‘ll practice your skills in speaking, reading, and writing. 

     Today we will continue speaking about seasons and weather.

     So, what day is it today?

      What date is it today?

     Open your copy-books and put down today’s date, and classwork.

III. The main part of the lesson

 Т: Pupils? Let’s refresh your knowledge.  Look   at the board  and we can find out who knows weather words best.I’ve prepared some tasks for you.Change the order of the letters: Your task is if you guess, raise your hand and put down on the blackboard, rest work in your copy-books.

T: And now your task is to choose the correct word to  the picture .You will be checked immediately

ІV.Відпрацювання діалогічного та монологічного мовлення.

T: Let’s remember our feelings which you can use to describe the weather.

How do you feel when the weather is rainy/hot/stormy/cloudy?

T: So, at the screen you have a little promt. Let’s make up sentences.

e.g  I feel happy |sad| scared|bored when the weather is… (cold, sunny, warm, cool, hot, frosty, snowy, rainy, pouring,   stormy, foggy, wet, windy, cloudy, freezing cold, boiling hot, a bit chilly).

 e.g I feel scared when the weather is stormy.

 

T: Look at the screen and say How many seasons are there in a year?

Ps: four seasons

T: Right. They are spring, summer, autumn, winter.

What colour is spring/summer/autumn/winter?

Ps:Spring is … (green),
Summer is… (bright),
Autumn is …(yellow),
Winter is …(white).

T: And now lets move a little bit . At the beginning of the lesson you’ve received weather cards like this one. Your task is to name the weather on them and stick to the appropriate season. ( на дошці написано What’s the weather? It’s_______  in_____

T: And What’s the weather today? Come to the circle and show.

T: The next task is to

Match the weather to the season

winter	it’s rainy and wet, trees and flowers start to grow
autumn	it’s hot and sunny, people go on holiday
summer	it’s cool and foggy , trees lose their leaves
spring	it’s very cold and it snows, Christmas is in this season

 

T:. Now  to remember how many seasons are in a year lets sing the seasons Song.

T: How many months are there in a year? What are they? What are spring/summer/autumn/winter months?

T:. The next task at your papers is to complete the sentences with the names of the months:   So, do it  and we check       

 

1. The first month of the year is …..(January).
2. The hottest month is …..(July).
3. The first summer month is …..(June).
4. The shortest month of the year is …..(February).
5. We have Christmas in …... (January).
6. The first autumn month is …..(September).

T:. I read the sentences and your task is to say if they true or false.

Т: Why do people often talk about weather?

Ps:  Weather is a good idea to start communication with people.

      People don’t know what to say and they talk about weather.

     We want to know the weather when we are going out and thinking about clothes.

      It is important to know the weather of the place you are going.

T: How do we get information about the weather?

Ps: We can find information about weather on the Internet, television, radio.

      People can get it in the mobile (weather service).

T:  Thank you for your answers. When you present the weather, of course, you must tell people the temperature. It is important to know if the weather is hot and warm, cool or cold.

T: And now, you are going to listen to the text about the weather report.I’m sure that you’ll understand it.

T.: Before you watch video look at the words.Your task is to mark  the words you hear:

- fog

- thunder

- lightning

- rain

- snow

- hot

- warm

- windy

- stormy

- cloudy

 

T:.  Ok let’s watch  again  and now you should tick the weather in each country.

T.:  And now find out if the following statements are true or false:

8. The girl is afraid of thunder.

T: And the last task is to choose the correct option:

1.Everybody is enjoying their summer holidays/winter holidaysin South America.

 

2.  Dad/Mum is scared of thunder and lightning.

 

3.    Everybody wants autumn/springin Asia.

 

4.People are staying in their homes for a long winter’s day in  Europe/Canada.

VII. Check on homework. Presenting projects.

VIII. Speaking

     T: Sometimes the weather is fine, but sometimes the weather is bad.                  People say: “There is no bad weather, there are bad clothes”. The  weather   changes and we change our clothes.

         Look at the screen and say what do you wear in different seasons? e.g: I wear a raincoat  in autumn.|when it is rainy.

          IX. Work in groups.

T. And now you’ll work in groups . There 4 groups called Winter, Spring, Summer, Autumn.  I have secret envelops with seasons in.Your task is to present your season   not to name it. Another groups have to guess what season is it?  There is a table in envelops it helps you to work quicker. Start  filling in the table &use it.
