Вид заняття: комбіноване заняття Цілі: Практичні: - активізувати навички використання вивчених ЛО теми «Подорож» на аудіюванні, читанні, письмі та говорінні; - повторення граматичного матеріалу Past Simple and Past Continuous; Навчальні: - активізувати вживання в мові учнів лексику по темі «Подорож» через різні види мовленнєвої діяльності: читання, говоріння, письмо, аудіювання; - розширювати знання учнів щодо особливостей транспорту в різних країнах; - розуміти особливості свого мислення, розширити світогляд; Розвивальні: - розвивати пам’ять та уважність під час читання; - розвивати фонематичний слух та уважність при аудіюванні та говорінні; - розвивати мовленнєві здібності (мовної здогадки, імітації, логічного викладення думок) ; - розвивати інтелектуальні і пізнавальні здібності різних видів пам’яті – слухової й зорової, оперативної та тривалої, уваги - довільної та мимовільної, уяви; Виховні: - виховувати ввічливу та коректну поведінку під час подорожей; - виховати культуру спілкування; - виховати такі риси характеру як доброзичливість, толерантність, колективізм, активність, працьовитість; Обладнання: комп’ютер, мультимедійна дошка, презентація уроку, роздатковий матеріал (картки для роботи в парах, групах), інтернет ресурси https://learnenglishteens.britishcouncil.org/skills/listening/a2-listening/travelling-abroad , підручник High note 2 PROCEDURE I. Introduction T: Good morning, students! Glad to see you cheerful and smiling. How are you today? S1: I’m fine, thanks. S2: Perfectly well! T: I’m glad to hear that! Today we are going to continue speaking about travelling. I hope our lesson will be interesting and informative for you. By the end of the lesson you should be able to: • participate in common conversational exchanges about the topic of today’s lesson; • use lexical units and grammar structures in sentences and speaking; • work in groups and pairs; • identify main ideas and details from the audio for listening; • speak about your favourite trip Why do people travel? S1: We meet new people and visit new places. S2: We get to know more about culture and people. T: People travel for different reasons. Some travel because it’s their hobby, some on business, some to visit their relatives who live far away. Today we’re going to speak about travelling. We’ll read, review useful vocabulary, we’ll talk about ways of travelling. We have a lot to do. II.Warming-up T: What are your associations with the word “travelling” Luggage boarding pass check in T: Different people prefer to travel by different means. What are they? T: So, students, let’s review the vocabulary of our topic. (with a ball) 2. Group work. T: I want to divide you into groups . You have verbs cards and phrase cards. You have 3 min to find the pairs. We use the Past Simple to describe events that finished in the past;and it is not important how long they took: I watched tv in the evening. We use Past Continuos : To describe a background scene in a story: Lee was having breakfast in her hotel. She was sitting at the table and drinking coffee. To talk about an action that was in progress when another action took place,or at the particular time in the Past. While he was climbing in the mountains, he broke his leg to talk about two or more actions happening at the same time : While I was sunbathimg,the children were building a sandcastle. When we want to stress that something lasted long,or too long: He was watching TV all evening-what a waste of time!Grammar revision. Past simple/Past Continious
