1. Look at the list of verbs. Divide these verbs into regular and irregular. Fill in the table (Padlet Wall).

Look, come, go, write, see, make, do, watch, have, talk, speak, stand, swim, run, put, be, want, eat.

2. Main part.

1. Do you know something about the world the year when you were born? Tell. What do you know about 2001?
2. Read the text below.

3. Post reading task.

5. Production.  Look at the HO1. Refresh your knowledge concerning the questions in Past Simple. Ask your partner using the words denoting past time and prompts below. E.g. Did you play the piano last night?
