"Special days. Christmas" (5-й клас)

Мета:

Закріпити знання учнів про свята в Україні та Великобританії.

Розвивати навички читання, аудіювання, говоріння та письма.

Ознайомити учнів із Різдвяними традиціями та атрибутами.

Розвивати мовленнєву здогадку, прищеплювати цікавість до предмету;

Формувати толерантне відношення до іншомовних культур;

Обладнання:

• Мультимедійна презентація
• Різдвяні атрибути
• картинки із зображеннямсвяткування Різдва,
• листівки,
• проектор.

Хід уроку

I. Организационный момент.

Teacher: Good morning, children!

Children: Good morning,

T.: I am gland to see you!

II. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення

(Звучить пісня “Jingle Bells”), учні співають разом з вчителем

T: We have heard the song “Jingle Bells”. Tell me, please, what song is it?

P1: It is Christmas song, called carol.

T.: Yes, that’s right! When do people sing it?

P2: The people sing carols during Christmastime.

T: The topic of our lesson is: “Special days. Christmas !”.

 

III. Лексичний матеріал.

T. Look at the blackboard. Who is it? Yes, that’s right. It is Santa Claus

T. Where can we meet him?

P3: We can meet him in Great Britain, Canada and the USA.

T: When does he usually come?

P4: Usually he comes on Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve.

T: What do you know about British Christmas? What do we celebrate on this day?

 

IV. Проекти учнів про Різдвяні традиції

T: When do people in Great Britain ( Ukraine) celebrate Christmas?

   What do people do before Christmas?

P5: British people decorate the Christmas tree with colourful lights, tinsel and toys.

P6: They put presents for all the family under the Christmas tree.

P7: Children sing carols and some people give them money, sweets and presents.

P8: British people have fun with crackers.
