Тема уроку: Шкільне життя та шкільні проблеми.

Мета уроку:

навчальна – удосконалювати навички усного та писемного мовлення, читання, аудіювання; вчити аналізувати отриману інформацію; систематизувати граматичний матеріал.

розвивальна – розвивати уміння робити зіставлення, висловлювати свою думку, збагатити словниковий запас.

виховна – виховувати розуміння важливого значення освіти та оволодіння іноземною мовою і потреби користуватися нею, як засобом

спілкування, виховувати повагу до школи.

Тип уроку:   урок комплексного застосування знань, умінь, навичок.

Обладнання: презентація, мультимедійна дошка, роздавальний матеріал.

Хід уроку:

1. Підготовка до іншомовного спілкування.

1. Привітання

T.: Good morning pupils! I hope you are in a good mood to start our lesson. Today we have unusual lesson. As you see we have some guests today.  They are teachers of our lyceum. But don’t worry about it, don’t be afraid to do mistakes. You are only pupils.

So tell me what influences one’s mood?

Among the factors that influence your mood you mentioned school: this is a place you    spend most of your time in. “ School life and school problems”  – the topic of our lesson.

T.: Read some reasons why we go to school. (мультимедійна презентація)

• To learn and to read and write:
• To learn about science;
• To learn different subjects;
• To prepare for our future education;
• To understand other people;
• To learn to respect each other;
• To learn foreign languages.
• To study History;

T.: Of course , we go to school to get knowledge, because without them we can’t get success in life, we can’t be good specialists. And we should always remember that “Education is knowledge, knowledge is power, power is respect and respect is happiness ”. (мультимедійна презентація)

3. Робота в групах

Гра «Guess the room», «Guess the subject».

T: Let us do the next task in groups.

Group 1 «Guess the room»

1. Books, newspapers, magazines are kept there. You go there to borrow or read books. (A library)
2. A room where you have lessons at school. (A classroom)
3. Meetings, performances, gatherings and parties are held in it. (An assembly hall)
4. A place where you can watch sports matches. (A stadium)
5. A room where you do exercises for your body. (A gymnasium)
6. A room where you can eat sandwiches and drink tea or juice during the break. (A canteen)
7. A room for teachers and class registers. (A teachers’ room)

Group 2 «Guess the subject».

1. You do a lot of experiments during this lesson (Chemistry).

2. You read books, stories and poems by different authors and discuss them  (Literature).

3. You use calculators to do the tasks at this lesson (Math).

4. Before this lesson you warm up and then run and jump in the gum (Physical Training).

5. You learn a lot of facts about different countries (Geography).

6. At this lesson you learn about kings and queens (History).

7. You draw portraits and make different things during this lesson (Art).

T: Open your booksat page 64 , ex. 2 Read the text and match the questiones(1-6) to the paragraphs (A-B).

Before reading the text let’s read, translate and write the new words from the box at page 65. You may use your phones for translation.

Read the essay again and decide whether the statements of ex. 3 are true or false. T: Match the words with their definitions . (мультимедійна презентація)

а) T: Work in pairs. Take turns asking and answering the questions of ex.5; p.66.

б) T: Read the British teenagers’ opinions to their schools. Compare them to your own opinions. (мультимедійна презентація)
