         to practice answering questions

         to practice vocabulary

         to develop English learning motivation

         to develop students’ speaking and listening skills

         to practice  students’ learning skills

         to practice  students’ skills of becoming independent and active learners

Learning outcomes:

 by the end of the lesson learners will be able to:

         to name  types of fillms

         recognize these words among others

Procedure

  1.      Greeting and Aim             

 T:  Good morning, boys and girls. Nice to meet you at our lesson today. How are you?

 Ps: We are fine. Thank you.                                                                                                                                                                                     T:That’s nice. You’re in a good mood and we can start our lesson. Today we are going to speak about types of films.

   2)  Worm up

  1.      Vocabulary Practice

T: Study the vocabulary box. Use words to answer the question

cartoon  comedy  documentary  fairy tale

fantasy  romantic  film  sci-fi thriller action film

 

T: Which of the films you have seen and what do you think about that film?

S: I think Arctic Tale is a documentary flm.

  1.      Speaking

T: In pairs, talk about your favourite film or TV programme

A: My favourite fi lm is Minions. It’s a cartoon.

B: What’s it about?

A: It’s about some minions. They’re small, yellow creatures.

B: What’s it like?

A: It’s very funny

T: Study the Vocabulary  box, using a dictionary. Complete the text with the words.
