Цілі уроку:

Практичні:

1. Навчити учнів вживати лексичні з теми одиниці на рівні питання – відповідь, речення.

Освітні:

1. Прилучати учнів до культури мови, що вивчається.
2. Розширювати філологічний кругозір учнів.

Розвиваючі:

1. Розвивати мовну здогадку та мовленнєву реакцію.
2. Розвивати уяву учнів в умовах гри / роботи в парах, групах.
3. Розвивати естетичне сприймання дійсності.

Виховні:

1. Виховувати почуття ввічливості у стосунках з товаришами.

Обладнання уроку: ноутбук, презентація Power Point, відео, плакат, роздруківки, роздатковий матеріал, підручник, зошит.

Тип уроку: урок узагальнення знань, умінь і навичок.

T: Good morning, children! I am glad to see you. Today we continue our theme “School life”. And I want to organize our lesson in form of competition. I   divided you into 3 teams (Game-Fans, Winners, Super-Team). Now one member of your teams should choose one card with name of your team (додаток 1). And I will write down it on the blackboard . Let’s start our lesson.

T: But before starting our competition we should do a phonetic exercise:

Repeat after me:

 [u:], [u], [ʌ], [æ], [ai],[θ], [dʒ].

 [ˈmjuːzɪk], [skuːl], [bʊk], [ˈsʌbdʒɪkt], [mæθs], [baɪˈɒlədʒɪ].

Well done.

T: Let’s check words from your vocabulary.

 Which school subjects do you know?

P: Maths, English, Geography, I.T. etc.

T: Ok. And now let’s watch the movie.

    Do you remember all subjects from the movie?

P: Yes, we do.

T: Ok, let’s check. This task costs 5 points. I throw the ball to you and say name of subject in Ukrainian, and you should translate it into English.

And now one member pupil goes to the blackboard and asks one team to read and translate the words (subjects) from the cards. Other teams do the same one by one.

This task costs 5 points also.

P: “Winners” translate please … (додаток 2).

T: Pupils, you have got cards with crossword and you should fill it (додаток 3).

And look at the blackboard. Here is the same crossword on the poster. And the team, that will be the first will fill it on the blackboard.

The task cost 5 points also.

And you have 3 minutes for this work.

  T: Pupils, which modal verbs do you know?

P: can, may, should, have to, could.

T: Now let’s watch and discuss the presentation (додаток 4).

1. You should fill the gaps (the last picture of presentation). You have 3 minutes. This task costs 5 points.
2. You have got cards for translation (додаток 5). You should translate 5 sentences. This task costs 5 points.

 T: that’s excellent work. Thank you. And now let’s check your points and define the winner.

“Winners” – 20 points

“Game-Fans” – 18 points

“Super-Team” – 18 points

So “Winners” is the winner today. Each member of this team gets medal “Winner” and other pupils get medals “Active pupil” (додаток 6).
