Тема: Видатні особистості (5 клас) рівень А1

Підтема:  Геніальні люди свого часу. Геній Леонардо да Вінчі Тип уроку: комбінований.

Мета: сформувати уявлення учнів про культурну спадщину Леонардо да Вінчі;  сформувати уявлення учнів про геніальність, як явище в розвитку людства. Практична: автоматизувати  вживання лексичних одиниць з теми: architecture, art, biology,engineering, mathematics, music, science;        практикуватися у вживанні Past Simple у монологічному мовленні та на письмі;  практикуватися у промовлянні  дієслів у минулому  часі. Розвиваюча: розвивати ритміко-інтонаційну навичку читання; розвивати  мовну здогадку учнів, логіку висловлювань; розвивати фонематичний слух та навички аудіювання; розвивати граматичні навички; розвивати пізнавальні здібності учнів, різні  види  пам 'яті. Виховна: виховувати повагу до культурної спадщини Леонардо да Вінчі та інших видатних людей  свого часу; виховувати такі риси характеру учнів як толерантність, активність працьовитість. Обладнання: підручник Opporunities (elementary), робочий зошит, міні – словничок, репродукції картин Леонардо да Вінчі, магнітофон, аудіо запис, комп'ютер, мультимедійна установка, проектор, дошка, дидактичний та роздатковий матеріал (картки з завданнями).

(2хв.) 5.Перегляд відеопрезентації.(8хв.) 6.Розвиток  фонетичних навичок.   Відпрацювання читання закінчення  -ed в правильних дієсловах. (6хв. ) 7. Практикування у вживанні Past Simple (робота з картками).(5хв.) 8.Фізична розминка.(2хв.) 9.Закріплення вивченного грамматичного матеріалу. (групова робота у формі гри). (8 хв.) ІІІ. Заключна  частина уроку. 1.Підсумки уроку. 2.Пояснення домашнього завдання. 3.Виставлення оцінок.

Teacher: Good morning, dear children. How are you today? Let`s start our lesson!

Teacher: Who is on duty today?  Who is absent ? 

ІІ. Основна  частина уроку:

1. Повідомлення теми уроку та мети уроку

Teacher : You know, that all people have their  different duties. Even famous persons in history had duties.

Teacher: Who are the famous people in history in our country?

Pupil1: Taras Shevchenko – famous ukrainian poet, artist and thinker.

Pupil2: Ivan Franco -  writer, scholar, political and civic leader, publicist.

Pupil3: Vasil  Karazin - inventor, scientific publisher, the founder of Kharkiv University.

Teacher: What famous persons do know in other countries?

Pupil1: Queen of England Elizabeth I - British monarch.

Pupil2: Marie Curie – famous scientist.

Pulil3: Leonardo da Vinci – Italian  painter and scientist.

  Teacher: the topic of our lesson is “Genius”.  We will also discuss important historical figure  who is considered to be genius  Leonardo Da Vinci.

By the end of the lesson you will be able to:

• Recognize and understand   words and word combinations on this theme when reading and translating them.
• To use words and word combinations in different situations.
• To give the information on Leonardo da Vinci’s biography, his paintings and his inventions.
• Use Past Simple tense properly while speaking, reading and writing.

 

      2. Активізація вживання лексичних одиниць з теми

Teacher : Children!  Look at the screen.

Task1 You will see the words on it.  You will repeat the words after me.  Then, use the pictures to guess the meaning of the words.

For example:  Children see the word ‘architecture’ then they repeat this word after the teacher, and then the pictures of different buildings and architectural plans appear.  The children should use these pictures to guess the meaning of the word, ‘architecture’. And so on.

Words: architecture, art, biology, engineering, mathematics, music, science, poetry

Task 2 Now look at the screen and tell me, please. What do we call people who work in these areas?

Art – artist;

Music – musician;

Mathematics – mathematician;

Biology – biologist;

Architecture – architect;

Engineering – engineer;

Science – scientist.

 

Task 3 Look at the screen and  put the missing letters.

3.Розвиток навичок читання.

Teacher: Pupils, do you remember what proffecions have Leonardo da Vinci had got?

 Pupil1: He was an architect, a military engineer, a biologist, a mathematician,         an artist.

Look at the board. We can see today`s Quotation. Let`s read and translate it. How do you understand it?

“Painting is a poetry that is seen rather than felt, and poetry is painting that is felt rather than seen”

So, we have already revised the vocabulary and let`s read the text. But at first read the questions on the screen. You will be able to answer them after reading the text.

Перед тим як почати читання тексту, вчитель пропонує переглянути запитання до тексту. Учні читають текст про Леонардо да Вінчі. Потім вчитель задає питання до тексту:

Teacher : Questions:  1) Was Leonardo da Vinci only an artist?

    2) When was he born?

    3) Did he like to study at school?

    4) What is his most famous painting?

    5) When did he die?

4. Фізична розминка.

Teacher: You know, that Leonardo da Vinci had a lot of work to do and he was tired very often, so he had a rest often. Are you tired now? Do you want to have some fan?

5.Перегляд відеопрезентації.

Teacher: Well, you know that Leonardo da Vinci was an artist. Where can we see his paintings?

Pupil1: In the museum.

Pupil2: In the art –gallery.

Teacher: Imagine that you`re in the art-gallery.  Look at the Leonardo da Vinci`s paintings and try to recognize them.

  1) Учні переглядають відео презентацію №1 про картини та винаходи Леонардо да Вінчі. Після перегляду відповідають на питання вчителя:

  Teacher: What Leonardo da Vinci`s paintings did  you see:

Leda and the Swan,  Mona Lisa or La Giocconda, Adoration of the Magi, Madonna

Litta, a Musician.

 Teacher: You know that da Vinci was an incredible men. He was genius. And his scientific observations were a hundred years before his time. I invite you to the museum to look at his models and inventions and name the ones that you know.

2)Учні переглядають відео презентацію про винаходи да Вінчі №2, потім вчитель запрошує учнів відвідати галерею фактів з життя Леонардо да Вінчі. Факти надруковані на папері та розміщені на стінах класу. Учням пропонується переходячи від одного життєвого факту до іншого вирішити для себе, чи є цей факт правдивим  чи хибним. Потім вчитель перевіряє  наскільки  правильні відповіді дали учні.

Teacher :  Children, you know perfectly well that Leonardo da Vinci was one of the greatest artists in the world.  And if people want to see his paintings they go to art galleries or museums.  Here you see a gallery of facts about da Vinci.  Go around the class-room and look at these facts.  Try to guess if the statements on papers are true or false.  After you have had time to read all of the statements, we will check and discuss answers.

  6. Розвиток  фонетичних навичок.   Відпрацювання читання закінчення  -ed в правильних дієсловах.

 Учитель пропонує учням знайти у тексті та підкреслити дієслова у минулому часі. Далі вчитель пояснює учням правила читання закінчення  -ed в різних випадках.

 

1)worked [t] (We use [t] after voiceless sounds)

2)hated [id]  (We use [id] after t and d)

3)moved [d]  (We use [d] after voiced sounds)

    Вчитель пропонує зіграти учням у гру “Впізнай звук”. Учні об`єднаються в три команди. Слухають уважно слова, що читає їм вчитель. Перша група має “впіймати” оплесками слова, що закінчуються на звук [t], друга - слова зі звуком [d] на кінці, третя- відповідно зі звуком [id]. Перемагає та команда, що “зловить” найбільше звуків.

Group 1: finished, liked, worked.

 Group 2: moved, designed, showed, returned, carried, travelled, lived, continued, died.

 Group 3: hated, started, studied, painted.

 9. Закріплення вивченого граматичного матеріалу за допомогою командної     гри   “Magic  dice”.

    На ігровому полі розташовані дієслова в інфінітіві. Учні кожної з команд по черзі кидають кубик, роблять хід на ігровому полі  в залежності від числа , яке їм випало. Зупинившись на одному із дієслів, вони мають назвати це дієслово в минулому часі.Виграє той, хто швидше дійде до фінішу.

  Teacher:  Place your game-piece in the “Start” position.  Roll the dice and move your piece forward the number of places you rolled.  You must give the Past Simple form of the verb where you landed.  If you are correct, you will stay on that space until your next turn.  If you are wrong, you must move your piece back one space.  The winner will be the player in each group who reaches the finish first.

Teacher: so, what have we done today?  We have observed the most famous geniuos of  the world and got some facts from his life. We have practiced to use Past Simple. And i`m sure you will do your homework correctly.

Teacher:  Your task is to write five sentences in your copybooks about things you did last week, using Past Simple forms and ex.11,p43 .
