Урок " Вишиванка - більш, ніж мода"

                      План-конспект уроку з англійської мови 7 клас.

   Тема:   Vyshyvanka more than fashion. (Вишиванка – більш, ніж мода.)

Мета: ознайомити з новим лексичним матеріалом; навчати та тренувати вживання вивчених ЛО в усному та писемному мовленні за темою; удосконалювати навички читання, говоріння; перевірити вміння учня використовувати вивчений матеріал при виконанні індивідуальної  роботи; розвивати мовні та мовленнєві навички учня за темою; розвивати комунікативні здібності школярів; виховувати свідомих громадян своєї держави.

Тип уроку: тренувальний з говоріння,  читання.

Види діяльності на уроці: самостійна робота, парна робота, робота з роздатковим  матеріалом, робота з опорою на наочність.

                                     Хід уроку.

1. Привітання.

- Good morning, everybody! I’m glad to see you. Today we continue the topic “Clothes. Fashion”. We are going to revise all your knowledge concerning this problem. Also we’ll learn new facts about it. I hope you are fine and ready to work, aren’t you? So, let’s start our lesson. So, look at the photo. Do you know this woman? (Students’ answers “No”). What can you say about her appearance, clothes? How do you think, what’s her profession? (Students’ answers – model, actress…) We’ll talk about this woman a bit later and now look at the next photo. 

2. Введення теми уроку.

- Look at the photo. Describe these people and say what do they have in common? ( All they are wearing Ukrainian traditional clothes – vyshyvanka.) So the topic of our lesson is “Vyshyvanka more than fashion.”

- On this slide you can see the map of Ukraine, but it is unusual for us. What can you say? ( It has different ornaments and colours in different regions).

Which colours are mostly used? What do they symbolize?

- Now look at the pictures and words and match them. (Відпрацьовується вимова слів, їх значення, після цього учні виконують вправу на закріплення лексики).

- What do you know about vyshyvanka? (Виступи учнів про невідомі факти про вишиванку слайд 7-16).

-  You have a text. Read it and do the task. (Виконання вправи в парах).

- And let’s come back to the first photo at the beginning of the lesson. Can you say her profession? She’s a Ukrainian designer Vita Kin who’s famous all round the world for her wonderful vyshyvankas.

3. Заключна частина уроку:

In conclusion, vyshyvanka is a symbol of our country, the mirror of our soul. It’s a symbol of health and beauty, love and fidelity because embroided Ukrainian shirt is not just a piece of clothes but a real ward which thanks to the Ukrainian designers is very popular among the people all round the world.
