Розробка   уроку  англійської мови « Real detective »( 8 клас.Тема « Кіно.Книги»)

Практична мета-вивчити тематичну лексику по темі « Cinema. Gеnres of the films» Повторити лексику по темі « Зовнішність» .Виконати ряд усних вправ та тестових завдань по темі . Навчитися працювати в групах, стимулювати самостійну діяльність учнів  ,закріпити комунікативні навички учнів.

Тема- Genres

Розвиваюча мета- розвивати вміння та навички учнів в аудіюванні ,читанні, перекладі  ,розвивати  зацікавленість до пошукової роботи ,вміння співпрацювати з іншими учнями   розвивати  вимоги до само- оцінювання, розвивати навички інтонації , покращувати ігрові навички учнів, вміння складати власні завдання.

Загальноосвітня – розвивати та збагачувати  загальноосвітній світогляд учнів  в вивченні англійської мови ,зокрема у вивченні лексики, граматики, інтонації , до цікавих тематичних

досліджень . Прививати інтерес до вивчення мови за допомогою ігрових форм.

Виховна мета –виховувати в учнів пізнавальну зацікавленість  до  вивчення англійської мови повагу до рідної мови , вміння їх гармонійно поєднувати .

Тип уроку-комбінований

Методи-слово вчителя  репродуктивний частково- пошуковий.

Обладнання-робочі зошити учнів, дошка, ілюстрації з зображенням різних персонажів для конкурсів , папірці з  виразами для тематичного конкурсу,  комплект з 15 однакових випусків англійської газети « Digest , таблички з зашифрованими  термінами та словами по темі,записи музичного супроводу,  музична тема до художнього фільму «Шерлок Холмс та доктор Ватсон» та тема з фільму» Джеймс Бонд» ,портрети відомих людей.

                                       Хід  уроку

1 Організаційний момент –Good morning, children.Glad to see you very much today! Is everybody all right?- let see .Let us warm up a little! Let us check if everybody is here!

Teacher-Hey,boys,are you there !

Boys -Yes,teacher,we are here!

Teacher-Hey,girls,are you there !

Girls –Yes,teacher, we are here !

OK, now it is good  and we can start our  party.So today we are going to talk about cinema the genres of cinema  and then we are going to play in some kind of detectives ,OK?

Pupils- OK!

Well, let s remind the names of cinema genres, Are there any volonteers?

May be you,Tolya?

But Tolya says a rhyme- I think ,my English is not very good!

Teacher-Don’t be silly-Its wonderful!

So,Tolya  can you name us the genres of films

 Tolya names –comedy,drama,thriller,melodrama,diary,sonnet,western,historical film, documentary,fantastic films etc!

 Teacher-well,good!Children,let s repeat them all together!(Pupils repeat ). Anything to add? Masha,what about you!You look dreamy today, don’t you  ?

Do you remember the rhyme about morning?

Masha- Morning is come!

             Night is away!

              Rise the sun !

              And welcome the day!

Teacher- Good,so what about films,can you add anything?

Masha-May be sitcome,my favorite genre?

Teacher –Yes it is right!

And now ,pupils here is  the first task. And its result depends of all of you because the answer of it will be the topic of the next part of our lesson.

So ,Iam telling you some words,you listen very attentively and then say what is  common   in them,OK?

To suspect,to realize,to believe,a criminal,a thief, a robbery,cash,a circle,a stranger,to arrest,proof,argument,alibi,police,police-station,to stoll.a detail, silence,darkness,bank.

Teacher So, what ideas? ( Звучить музика з фільму Шерлок Холмс та доктор Ватсон)

Pupils should guess the topic is detective.

So lets play in detectives and do it in English. Its cool,is not it?

Competition 1- ALIBI -Teacher asks everybody the same guestion –Where have you been on Friday night?

Pupils have to answer it  as quickly as possible.The reason is who will not answer or answer too slowly is a criminal with no alibi.

For example-Where  were you on Friday night?

Answer- In a pub!

                At my friends birthday party

                Slept at home

                 Visited  my  ill granny etc.

Competition 2- Find it quickly   -Teacher  gives pupils the same  edition  of  «Digest English newspaper »where there  is a text about Sherlok Holmes  and doctor Watson ,then reads twelve word combinations from the text.Pupils should find them and underline as quickly as possible.The winner will be called the most attentive detective.

Competition 3 –Egyptian mystery-Teacher devides all pupils into three groups ,then gives them

pictures with described pictograms on them.It  includes the key word and pupils have to find it out.

Competition  4-Photorobot .Teacher gives the pupils the photos of six  different people then reads the description of their appearance and pupils should guess who is on which photo.Then  some of pupils takes the teachers role and describe it by himself or herself,other pupils should guess it.

Competition 5-Find the wrong proof .Some of pupils are given cards where there  are some  lines of words,one of the words is wrong in any reason .Pupil must –read the line to all class,translate all the words,guess what word is wrong in this line and why.

The examples of the lines are-

Table-cloth,napkin,glass,paper  glass,knife,encyclopedia

Camomile,palm,rose,thistle,lilac,daffodil

Sofa,cupboard,chocolate,bed,table,chair.

Competition 6-Real professional!

Teacher  devides into two groups and give them two topics –The criminal in India

                                                                                                  The criminal in Spain

Then teacher reads  a set of big number of words .The rules are if a word have any attitude to the topic pupils put their cards up if not they do nothing and sit still.

Competition 7-Broken note

Teacher gives to  pupils broken pieces of ten coded sentenses.The pupils should cooperate in working and match the start and the end of every sentence

Sentences-  It was nearly  five o clock when…suddenly somebody knocked at the door.

                    It was him….whom I have seen near the bank today.

                     Are you sure that …it was Monday then?

                     Dark shadow appeared close to me …I was very afraid.

                      Sorry,you are my best friend but…I cant keep your alibi!

                      Merry Grant was looking for her father on the ship …but with result.

                      Is anybody here…can anybody  help me?

                      Where do you preserve your money…. In a secret place!

                       Turn on the light    ….It seems   some things disappeared here!

                       Holmes was very tired and decided ….to play the violin.

Competition 8-The stolen portraits. Teacher gives pupils several photos  of famous people and explain that these portraits were stolen from the photo –gallery.Later police found them but they did not know  what frame was to which photo.Pupils have to match photo and frame according to the description.

This man is the leader and the founder of «Microsoft  Corporation».This company produces tools  and micro-size details for computers,electronic devices,gadgets and others computer  equipments.»Microsoft» is the world well known corporation and this man personally is one of the richest men of the world.(Bill  Gates )

This man is one of the most famous politicians  times the Second World War-1941-1945.He was the prime minister of Great Britain of that times.He met the president of the USA Rusvelt and president of USSR Stalin in Yalta in 1944.He was the very clever diplomat.He made the great contribution into the development of post war Great Britain.(Winston Churchill)

This person is a popular British pop-singer.He is the author of sound-track  to the cartoon Lion King.He sang many popular songs and film sound tracks which took first positions in music charts.This man is also known for his charity activity;he organized tours,collected money and gave it to poor people,ill children,people with AIDS ets.(Elton  John)

She is the American actress.She is a wife of the American actor Michael Douglas.She was awarded by the Oscar  Award,she made many popular roles in Hollywood,one of them is Zorro.She is also one of the most beautiful women –actresses.Public likes her style,talent,family features,charity and other pleasant features.(Сatherine Zeta Jones)

Queen Elizabeth  .Now living and reighing Queen of Great Britain.She is very loved and respected among ordinary Britains and Londoners.People celebrate the birthday together with their Queen.In this day in June the streets of London  are decorated,music sounds everywere,there are a lot of different concerts and festivals.She is loved by her nation  and she cares about  her nation too.(Queen Elizabeth)

Sherlock Holmes.This is a very famous literary hero of detective novels .Everybody knows his great talent in founding criminals and murders .The reason of the murder is not the secret for him .His literary father was Arthur Conan Doyle. We also heard a lot about his detective colleagues-doctor Watson and Mrs Hatson.His personal hobby was playing the violin and smoking cigar.

This woman is the politician.She was very famous politician of 80 –s.Her nickname was « The Iron Lady»  for her strong and severe character and cold manners  .She was of only several women prime- ministers,she was the prime minister of Great Britain. Her career in politics was very successful,she made the meaningful contribution into the development of British economy,culture,science and most of all politics on the world wide arena.(Margaret Thatcher)

World famous British pop group .Their nickname is «The Liverpool Quartet», because they were from Liverpool.These boys made the real revolution in music at 60 –s.Their song « Yesterday»  is the real hit of that times and is known all around the world.One of them Poul Maccartney is still living in  London and goes on with musical and professional carreer.(Beatles)

Her real name was Diana Spenсer.She was the  world wide famous princess,because  she was not only the wife  of British prince Charles.She was loved by all the people of Great Britain for her great kindness and wide charity activity.She helped ill and hungry people in Africa,Kenya and so on.But like many other great people she died too early.In awfull car crash in Paris on the 31 st of August in 1997.(Princess Diana )

This was a world known British Dramatist.He was born on Stratford on Avon.His literature masterpieces « King  Leer»,»Romeo and  Juliet» are known to everybody .Young Romeo and Juliet ARE THE REAL symbols of love and  devotion. This writer become the real example of art of drama for lots of other authors.

           Teacher –And now you will be awarded for your active work -you will see the scene « Funny moments in life of Sherlock Holmes and doctor Watson» which was prepared by our comedy stars-Vita Revinchuk,Roman Kelukh and Sasha Ivaniuk. So-enjoy!!!

Холмс-О, Ватсон,бачу Ви знову практикуєте.А Ви навіть і не казали, що маєте намір знову впрягатися в це ярмо!

Ватсон-А як Ви здогадалися?

Холмс –О, Ватсон я знаю не тільки це.Ще я знаю, що на неділі Ви страшенно промокли і що у  вашому домі препаскудна служниця.

Ватсон( розчаровано) –Ні Холмс це просто неймовірно, Ви знущаєтеся, звідки Ви все це знаєте?

Холмс –Та зовсім просто: на Вашому лівому черевику з внутрішнього боку аж шість страшенних подряпин.Очевидно, що черевики подряпав той ,хто зіскрібував з них засохлу грязюку.З цього я роблю подвійний висновок:Ви виходили з дому в негоду і що Ваша служниця –зразок препаскудної лондонської прислуги!

Ватсон-Холмс коли я Вас слухаю, то мені здається, що я повний йолуп

Холмс( іронічно в сторону)- А хто його знає?

Ватсон-Холмс, а як Ви знову здогадалися що я знову практикую?

Холмс-Ну, Ватсон це вже навіть смішно: від Вас просто страшенно тхне йодом ,а збоку на циліндрі утворилась гуля, що каже про те, що у Вас там сховано стетоскоп.Треба бути повним ідіотом, щоб не здогадатись що перед нами активний представник лікарської братії!

Місіс Хатсон –Сніданок готовий, джентльмени.( до Холмса ) Ваша вівсянка.

Холмс (з укором) Сер!

Місіс Хатсон( вимушено та сердито)-Сер!

(до Ватсона )-Ваш френч ,сер!

(Ватсон та Холмс їдять з великим апетитом)

Ватсон-Яка смакота!

Місіс Хатсон- Не дивно, адже я використала найсвіжіших равликів!(Холмс іронічно та голосно сміється)

(Ватсон спльовує в сторону)

Холмс ( знущаючись) А хтось казав що не любить французьких страв !

Ватсон (образливо) Холмс, ну що Ви весь час наді мною знущаєтесь?Хоч Ви і відкрили свій індуктивний-ні

Конструктивний –ні

Колективний –ні

Кондуктивний –теж ні

А нехай йому грець, як його ?

Холмс- дедуктивний Ватсон!

Ватсон-О, так, дедуктивний метод.Так от- хоч Ви і відкрили свій дедуктивний метод я теж можу похвалитися деякими пізнаннями!

Холмс( іронічно)- Наприклад?

Ватсон- От Ви Холмс знаєте від чого вітер? Від того,  що дерева гойдаються.А Ви знаєте чому риби мовчать-бо вони нічого не знають.Чому апельсини круглі?-Тому що квадратні важко їсти.

Місіс Хатсон-От бачите Холмс .Ви були зовсім несправедливі до доктора- він в нас такий розумний!

Холмс-Так але лише згідно теорії ,суть якої полягає в тому що чим більша голова, тим більше в ній розуму.

Місіс Хатсон-Ну досить сперечатися джентльмени.Краще пройдімте в їдальню-на Вас чекає гаряча вівсянка!( Всі виходять )

Our lesson is finishing.Hope you liked it .Personally I  pleased by you all and your activity .Sure you  too.You can see English is not a  just a language with grammar rules ,examples,explanations –English is a Language for communication ,for games,for discuss etc.

How  important  is English  for us?

One of the pupils-     Without  my tongue I can not talk

                                      Without my English it would be dull
