Урок "Weather forecast" для учнів 5 класу

Тема: Зима в Англії

Підтема: Weather mix. Weather forecast.

Мета:

Практична: практикувати активний словник теми, ввести нові лексичні одиниці, вчити їх правильно артикулювати, розвивати вміння учнів логічно та послідовно викладати власні думки іноземною мовою.

Освітня; тренувати навички роботи з текстом, поглибити знання учнів про погоду, розвивати самостійне мислення, ініціативність, бажання до пізнання нового.

Розвиваюча: розвивати автентичний слух, пам 'ять, увагу, логічне мислення, уяву, творчість, навички вимови, читання, розвивати зв 'язне діалогічне і монологічне мовлення.

Виховна; виховувати позитивне ставлення до вивчення англійської мови.

Обладнання: підручник,інтерактивна дошка, презентція, картки із зображенням погодних явищ, картки із завданнями, аудіозапис, відеозапис про погоду, відеозапис зарядки, робочі зошити.

Хід уроку

І. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення

1. Greeting and Aim.

T: Good morning, boys and girls!

P: Good morning, teacher!

T: Who is on duty today?

P: I am. Let’s me introduce myself. My name is…….

T: Today we continue to learn more about Nature and Weather. Our topic today is “Nature. Seasons and Weather”. By the end of the lesson you should learn more about nature, seasons of the year. We will talk about the winter in England, you have also learn how the weather forecast is made and other things. So let’s start with one of songs about the weather. (“What's the weather”)

2. Warming up.

1)  Pupils sing a song about the weather. (“What's the weather”)

1) p.151

T: Look at the list of words. Translate them into Ukrainian.

2) Work with cards.

Climate, heavily, sunny, snowy, to sunbathe, outside, windy, rainy, forecast, deegre.

2.  Listening

1)  Ex.1 (p.151) Listen to the world weather report. What is the weather like in different cities of the world?

2) Ex.2 (p.151) Listen again and answer to the questions.

3. Role Play “Forecast”

Do you listen to weather forecast? Do you trust them? Imagine you are a weatherman .

Look at the videos and describe the weather in London, Dubai, Carpathians and Maldives (учні переглядають відео з погодою і заповнюють картки у групах, потім виходять до дошки і розповідають про погоду, використовуючи карту подану в презентації)

 Dear friends! Our lesson is coming to an end. It’s time to say good-bye. We’ve done much at the lesson. We read, listened to the text, did exercises on the texts, you sang songs you presented your weather report. You were great!  You all get good and excellent marks.
