Тема: Weather and clothes 

Підтема: My favorite clothes

Цілі:

Практична: удосконалювати артикуляційну навичку; повторити  і активізувати лексичний запас учнів з теми «Weather» and «Clothes»; удосконалювати різні види мовленнєвої діяльності (читання, письмо, говоріння, аудіювання).

Виховна: виховувати культуру спілкування і колективної співпраці, зацікавлення до розширення власних знань; інтерес до вивчення англійської мови; сприяти підвищенню рівня мотивації на уроках англійської мови через засоби навчання.

Освітня: повторити і закріпити знання учнів з теми «Weather and clothes».

Розвивальна: розвивати мовленнєві, інтелектуальні та пізнавальні здібності учнів (увагу, пам'ять), культуру спілкування, уміння працювати самостійно та в групах.

Обладнання: постер зі скоромовкою, картки для СР, гра «Cabbage Game».

Схематичний план уроку

1. Початок уроку – 5 хв.
   1.       Організаційний момент – 1хв.
   2.       Фонетична зарядка – 2 хв.
   3.       Мовленнєва зарядка – 2 хв. 
2. Основна частина – 33 хв.
   1.       Повторення лексичного матеріалу – 8 хв.
   2.       Самостійна робота – 5 хв.
   3.       Вправи на повторення вивченої теми- 20 хв.
3. Заключна частина – 7 хв.
   1.       Підведення підсумків – 5 хв.
   2.       Повідомлення домашнього завдання – 1 хв.
   3.       Виставлення оцінок, мотивація роботи – 1 хв.

Хід уроку

І. Початковий етап.

1.1. Організаційний момент

Т.: Stand up, children. Good afternoon! I’m glad to see you! Sit down, please. Today we finish our topic “Weather and clothes”. We’ll start with phonetic exercise, as usual, and then do many interesting tasks.  I hope you are ready for the lesson, aren’t you? OK.

1.2. Фонетична зарядка

Т.: Let’s start our work with the phonetic exercise. Look at the blackboard. Here you can see the patter. Firstly, I’ll read it, and then we repeat together.

Spring is green.

Summer is bright,

Autumn is yellow,

Winter is white.

T.: Well done! Let's translate this patter, please. Okay.

1.3. Мовленнєва зарядка

T.: Answer the questions:

 - What is your favorite clothes?

 - What clothes do we wear when it's cold/ hot/ warm/ rainy?

II. Основна частина

 2.1. Повторення лексичного матеріалу

Т.: Now we will play a game called «Cabbage Game» (14 зелених папірців із питаннями будуть зім’яті у формі капусти). I will throw you a ball, you have to catch it, open one piece of paper and complete the task that is written on it. (пояснюю українською)

1. What do we wear in winter in Ukraine? Do you like winter in Ukraine?

2. What is the usual weather in summer in Africa? Would you like to live in Africa? Why?

3. You wear it on your feet in winter. What it is?

4. You put it on your head. What it is?

5. You wear them when you sleep. What time do you go to bed?

6. What was the weather like yesterday? Do you like such weather?

7. You put it around your neck. What it is?

8. You wear them on your feet at home. What color are your pajamas?

9. What's your favorite season? What do you like to do at this time of the year?

10. What is the usual weather for your birthday?

11. What is the weather like today? Do you like this weather?

12. What is your favorite colour? Why?

13. You're going to school. What are you wearing?

14. You are packing your suitcase on vacation. Where are you going? What will the weather be like there? What clothes will you take with you?

T.: You are right!

 2.2. Самостійна робота

T.: You have cards on your desks. You should insert the missing letter and write over the type of clothing the number in which the weather we can wear it. Write your name on a piece of paper. I'll check for the next lesson. (пояснюю українською)

2.3. Вправи на повторення вивченої теми

Т.: Now open your books on page 160. Look at the exercise 2.

Т.: Good for you! Look at the board. You can see six sentences in which words are mixed. You should put the words in the correct order. (слова в реченнях будуть розкидані; діти виконують вправу біля дошки, викливає по черзі)

1. I wear a school uniform every day.

2. I don't go to parties in a hat.

3. I went to a birthday party in a suit yesterday.

4. I didn't wear those gloves yesterday.

5. It is raining now.

6. I am not doing my homework now.

Т.: You are right! And now open your copybooks and write down the date. Look at the board. You should put the missing words. (речення на дошці, діти пишуть їх в зошити)

1. I am going to _____ my beautiful dress and shoes _____ . (put, on)

2. What is the  _____ like today? (weather)

3. It is raining. I am going to put my _____ on. (raincoat)

4. I wear _____ on my hands. (mittens/ gloves)

Т.: Okay. Let`s check. Good job!

Т.: You have a picture on the desk. You should make a mini-story based on this picture. Below you have hints. At the bottom of the paper you can see the scheme, which will be told. (пояснюю українською, по 1 малюнку на парту)

3.1. Підведення підсумків

Т.: Well, children, our lesson goes to the end. You’ve done a lot of useful activities and worked hard today. To sum up our lesson, answer my questions, please:

  - What do you remember the most from our topic «Weather» /«Clothes»?

 - Tell me, please. What is your favorite weather? And what do you wear in such weather?

3.2. Повідомлення домашнього завдання

Т.: Open your day books and write down the home task: ex. 1, 2, 3, on p. 75-76 in workbooks; ex. 6 on p. 161*.
