Мета : Систематизувати й узагальнити знання учнів по темі. Тренувати учнів у вживанні в мовленні тематичної лексики. Розвивати навички аудіювання, читання, письма.  Розвивати логічне мислення, пам'ять, увагу. Виховувати інтерес до читання, розвивати кругозір, сприяти збагаченню мови.

Обладнання : картки, проектор, презентація

І. Організація

- Good morning, children.

What day ( date, month, season ) is it today ?

II. Мовна хвилинка

    Учитель записує    вірш – загадку на дошці. Учні здогадуються, що йдеться про книгу.

Black is the seed,

The man who sows it,

Is clever indeed.

•  Do you like to read ? What is your favorite book?

      III. Повідомлення теми і мети уроку

• So today we’ll speak about  books  in your life .

IV. Актуалізація опорних знань учнів

• There are a lot of  different genres.

Учитель розкладає на столах картки зі словами, в яких літери розташовано в неправильному порядку. Учні складають з літер слова за темою «Літературні жанри» і по черзі записують їх на дошці.

• The more you read, the more you know.
• Choose an author as you choose a friend.
• A good book is a source of wisdom.
• Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body.
