Purpose: повторити вивчений лексичний та граматичний матеріал; актуалізувати знання, отримані на попередніх уроках; ознайомити учнів з новим лексичним матеріалом; навчити використовувати нові ЛО в монологічному/ діалогічному мовленні; ознайомити з новою інформацією про Об’єднане Королівство; навчити працювати в групах; розвивати навички читання, говоріння та письма; розвивати логічне мислення, пам'ять та увагу; виховувати любов та повагу до країн, мова яких вивчається.
Equipment: підручник, зошит, міні-словник, картки з завданнями

Lesson:

1. Good morning, dear children! I am very glad to see all of you today in this classroom. We have so much work to do but I hope you will enjoy our lesson.
    
2. But before we start learning a new topic which is by the way called «Wandering the United Kingdom», let’s repeat some information, I mean, events and facts that we’ve learnt on the last lessons. You can see some cards on the blackboard. There are a few sentences (or facts) about UK. You must say, is this fact right or wrong. (робота з картками на дошці усно)
    
3. After repeating some things we’ve already learnt we can start to learn a new topic, which is called… Hmmm, I think you should tell me this. You can see the missing letters on the blackboard. Please tell me the letters and then make up the name of our topic.
4. So our new topic is called «Wandering the United Kingdom».  First of all, I offer you to use some knowledge you’ve gained on the foreign literature’s lessons. You have cards on your desks. There are different questions and answers about the British literature. Match these sentences. (робота з картками на партах, питання-відповіді)
    
5. To do next task we should learn some new words you have in your little vocabularies. Let’s speak them out, translate it and do some task. OK, we’ve learnt new words, so now we can do the next task. There are cards with the new words on your desks. You must fill in the missing letters and make up the words with the letters you will fill in. (робота з новими словами)
    
6. And now we must to remember some grammar rules we’ve already learnt on the last lessons, I mean, the building of adverbs. We need these grammar rules to do the next exercise. OK, we have text on page 109. We must put the adverbs or the adjectives in the sentences. (робота з текстом)

8. Children, we’ve done so much work today. We’ve repeated some stuffs, have learnt new words, made up the adverbs, made up the sentences. I think we were really good and I’m very satisfied.
