Урок "Змінимо світ на краще"

Урок у 5 класі.

   Тема: «Змінимо світ разом».

   Мета: навчальна: ввести і закріпити  вживання нових лексичних одиниць та вдосконалювати вживання вивчених раніше лексичних одиниць теми «Навколишнє середовище» в часових формах present Simple, Past Simple, вдосконалювати навички аудіювання, читання, говоріння;

            розвивальна: розвивати вміння порівнювати, узагальнювати, логічно мислити; розвивати творчу уяву;

           виховна: виховувати повагу до товаришів, здатність працювати в колективі; підвищити мотивацію до вивчення англійської мови.   Практична задача: навчити читати текст з метою знаходження детальної інформації.  

   Обладнання: підручник “New Challenges” p.1; аудиіматеріал, таблиці та схема, текст для читання.

Хід  уроку.

1.Organazing, greetings, introduction

     At the previous lessons, we spoke about problems that our nature has. What was that problem? (Animals in danger) But unfortunately, this isn’t the only problem. Can you name any other problems? Today we are going to speak about people, who want to do something to help others. So, what do you expect to be able to do at the end of the lesson? (Students put the aim of the lesson)

2. Phonetic exercises. Match the words and the sounds, which we can hear in them.

 Now, let’s listen and repeat after me.

3. Lexical practice. We’ll need many words today. Let’s revise them. Put the verbs next to the nouns to make collocations. Where can we put the nouns from the previous task?

Verbs: recycle, turn off, help, save

Look at the pictures. Do you like what you see? How can we name these things?

(Students read the words after the teacher, match them with the pictures, write down in their vocabularies)

5. Vocabulary practice.

(Students use the words in the sentences)

6. Physical warm-up.

7. Pre-reading activity.

Naseem Khan won a prize for his community work. Why? (Students’ ideas)

8. Reading.

Exercise 3 p. 72.

(Students read the text underlining the provement to the answers)

9. After-reading activity. What community work did Naseem and his friends do? Let’s complete the spidergram with the information from the text.
