Тема уроку: «Зовнішність та характер моїх друзів»

Мета уроку:

Освітня:  формувати  навички засвоєння нових лексичних одиниць з теми, що вивчається.

Розвиваюча: розвивати та вдосконалювати комунікативну компетенцію учнів з вивченої теми.

Виховна: виховувати усвідомлення важливості дружніх стосунків, культуру взаємовідносин та повагу один до одного, ціннісне ставлення до себе та людей.

Тип уроку: комбінований

Обладнання: підручник О. Карп’юк English 8, картки - завдання, малюнки, відеоматеріали.

Хід уроку

І. Організаційний. Активізація уваги.

     T. – Good morning, students! How are you today? I hope you are well and we`ll start our lesson.

IІ. Оголошення теми та мотивація навчальної діяльності.

     T. – Now look at the screen, please! Give the explanation of the proverb and try to guess the topic of our lesson: «So many men, so many characters».

     I think this lesson will help you to understand that love, respect, kindness, honest are very important in our life.

     Вправа «Microphone».

     Учні передають уявний мікрофон і відповідають на запитання вчителя.

- What kinds of people do you like (don`t like) and why?

- What traits of character are necessary for a good (bad) person?

     T. – I think, now you know the topic of our lesson. It is «The appearance and traits of a person».

ІІІ Основний зміст уроку.

     1. Повторення лексичних одиниць (прикметники) та вивчення нових.

     Робота в групах «Акваріум».

Поділ класу на 2 групи.

- Гра «Читач - перекладач» (перша група читає слова у підручнику на ст. 18, а друга група перекладає їх (нові слова дані з перекладом).

- Поділ слів на дві групи (positive and negative traits of character).

- Інтерактивні вправи для обох груп «Незакінчені речення».

     T. -Dear students! Look through the words. And now listen and repeat, then translate, exercise 1, p. 18.

     Учні в парах виконують завдання, потім зачитують пари слів, які вони утворили.

2. Аудіювання тексту. Listening Comprehension.

     а) етап підготовки до аудіювання, перегляд малюнку впр. 1, ст. 19.

     в) етап слухання та перевірки розуміння змісту тексту.

     Інтерактивна вправа «Незакінчені речення» в поєднанні з «Мікрофоном», впр. 1, ст. 19.

с) Робота в парах.Groups work.

     Учні працюють в парах і записують прикметники на позначення характеру, які вони почули.

3.               Фізкультхвилинка. PT minute.

4. Усне мовлення. Speaking.

а) Робота в 3 –x групах.

     T. – Every group will take a photo of a well – known person for you. You should describe it.

     You will have 1-2 minutes to prepare your story.

     Use the plan for the description.

     Учні в групах за планом описують своїх героїв чи відомих зірок і спортсменів. Представник з кожної групи розповідає іншим учням про свого героя.

в) Колективна робота. Collective work.

     Учні пригадують прислів’я про друзів і дружбу та знаходять їхні українські еквіваленти.

- Make new friends but keep the old ones.

- A friend in need is a friend indeed.

- If you want to have a friend – be one.

ІІІ. Підсумки уроку. Summarizing.

1. Оцінювання роботи учнів на уроці.

2. Домашнє завдання (диференційоване)

І група – розповідь про свого найкращого друга, з використанням лексичних одиниць з теми;

ІІ група – написати замітку в газету про свого найкращого друга.

3. Слово вчителя.

     Our lesson is coming to the end.

     I wish all of you were true friends and have real friends. I wish you to be kind, optimistic, honest, helpful.

     Remember that you are known by the company you keep. You should surround yourselves with people of good characters and remember always about a smile and the words «thank you» and «please».

     I would like to finish our lesson with the words of the famous poet Sill Wolf.
