Is too busy to chat.

B is for Bat

He won’t wear a hat.

Billy the Bat,

What are you looking at?

C is for Cat,

He’s cute and he’s fat.

Colin the Cat,

Come to me, my lad!

D is for Deer,

Just wait,  he'll appear.

Dylan the Deer

Can be seen far and near.

E is for Emu.

Emus never flew.

Emma the Emu,

How are you?

F is for Fox.

He looks like a dog.

Freddy the Fox

Learns to hunt turkey flocks.

G is for  Goat

He wears a fur coat.

Garry the Goat

Sang and hurt his throat.

H is for Hare,

A species  not rare.

Haywood the Hare

Is hopping over there!

I is for Ibis

A strange-looking bird.

Ivan the Ibis

Is seen but not heard.

J is for Jackal.

Where does he dwell?

Lives close to the well.

K is for Kiwi,

His face lacks emotion.

Kevin the Kiwi

Lives near the ocean.

L is for Lion

Whose friend is sad Ryan.

Leo the Lion

Is a shoulder to cry on.

M is for Mule

He works hard at school.

Murray the Mule

Is clever and cool.

N is for Numbat,

He lives in Australia.

Nathan the Numbat

Is frightened of failure.

O is for Okapi,

He’s very smart.

P is for Pig

He is not very big.

Is friendly indeed!

Q is for Quokka

She lives where it’s hot.

He was born in June.

Sings songs to the Moon.

S is for Skunk.

Don’t step on him, don’t yell.

Leaves an awful smell.

T is for Turkey

Who sits in a tree.

Is funny and sweet.

U is for Unicorn.

He’s a magical horse.

Is never seen cross.

V is for Vulture

He likes to fly.

Can find food from the sky.

W is for Walrus,

He has whiskers and two big teeth.

We can see through him.

Is cheerful and slim.

Y is for Yak

She’s brown and black.

Yasmin the Yak

Carries weight on her back.

Z is for Zebra

He looks like a horse.

Zack the Zebra

Is from Africa of course!
