Reading the situation
Situation:
You are at a new school and know only a few people. One of these people is a boy named Ihor; he is very nice and popular. He tries to help fit in. He tells you if you are going to make it at this school, you have to be one of the crowd, you can’t stand out. He tells you to try and dress and act like the other kids do and you will be fine. You find this pretty easy and soon you are meeting more people and making friends.
Ihor invites you to a party and says it will be a good place to be because all the cool kids will be there. He advises you on what you should wear and when to go. When you arrive to the party, you see your friends. They bring you outside and offer you alcohol drink and a cigarette. They are all drinking and smoking. You don’t want to drink or smoke but Ihor is nodding that you should. One girl in the group says that if you don’t, you must be a loser and can’t be friends with them. She points out another group of people who aren’t drinking or smoking and says that is where the losers hang out.
