У збірнику подані коротенькі інсценіровки, які діти легко вивчають напам’ять. Книжечка ілюстрована малюнками.

 Призначається для вихователів дитячих садків та вчителів англійської мови початкових класів.

ПЕРЕДМОВА

 

 Навчання іноземної мови дітей дошкільного та молодшого шкільного віку насамперед ґрунтується на принципі зацікавленості. Вміння вчителя з перших занять зацікавити дітей є передумовою дальшої успішної роботи над іноземною мовою. На кожному занятті в цікавій формі необхідно давати щось нове. На першому етапі навчання особливо важливе значення має якнайбільш різноманітність методичних прийомів. Заняття необхідно проводити в жвавій формі, активізувати дітей, намагаючись весь час володіти їхньою увагою. Не можна допускати пасивності, необхідно міняти під час занять форми роботи.

 Даний посібник призначається для вихователів дитячих садків і вчителів, які навчають англійської мови дітей дошкільного та шкільного молодшого віку. Крім того, він може допомогти тим батькам, які самі допомагають дітям вчитися розмовної англійської мови.

 Інсценіровки можуть бути використані в гуртках англійської мови для позакласної роботи з дітьми молодшого шкільного року.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

THREE LITTLEKITTENS

І

З одного боку сцени стоїть ведучий, з другого – кішка.

The storyteller: Three little kittens

Lost their mittens,

And they began to cry:

Вбігають злякані котенята.

Kittens:           Miaw, miaw, miaw

Oh Mother dear,

We greatly fear

That we have lost our mittens.

Ніби знімають рукавички.

The Cat:         Miaw, miaw, what?

Lost your mittens,

You naughty kittens!

Then you will have no pie.

No, you will have no pie.

Котенята тікають.

II

The storyteller: The three little kittens

Found their mittens,

And they began to cry.

Вбігають радісні котенята і декілька разів піднімають лапки, показуючи рукавички.

Kittens:           Miaw, miaw, miaw

Oh Mother dear,

See here, see here,

See, we have found our mittens!

The Cat:         Put on your mittens,

You silly kittens,

And you will have some pie.

Kittens:           Oh let us have the pie!

III

The storyteller: The three little kittens

Put on their mittens

And soon ate up the pie.

Kittens:           Oh Mother dear,

We greatly fear

That we have soiled our mittens!

Котенята показують свої брудні рукавички, повертаючи лапки то в один бік, то в інший.

The Cat:         Soiled your mittens!

You naughty kittens!

The storyteller: Then they began to sigh.

Kittens:           Miaw, miaw, miaw.

IV

The storyteller: The three little kittens

Washed their mittens

And hung them up to dry.

Kittens (весело): Oh Mother dear,

Do you not hear

That we have washed our mittens?

Котенята труть кулачок об кулачок, показуючи, як вони прали рукавички.

The Cat (ніжно): Washed your mittens!

Oh you’re good kittens!

But I smell a rat close by.

Прикладає палець до носа, витягує голову, насторожена.

Kittens:           We smell a rat close by.  

Всі тихо виходять.

 

 

THE COCK AND THE FOX

 

 

The Cock: Cock-a-doddle-do! I am clever! I am brave! I am just like my father.

 

The Fox: You are really clever. You are really brave. You are really just like your father as I am just like my mother. Only in one respect you are not like your father, but that I can’t tell you now because I am in a hurry.

 

The Cock: Come back, fox! Come back! And tell me in what respect I am not like my father.

 

The Fox: All right. I shall tell you. When your father sang his song he used to fly down from the fence. He would stretch his neck, close his eyes and sing. Oh, how wonderfully he sang! You can’t sing like that.

 

The Cock: Can’t I? Look, and see!

 

Півень зіскакує на землю, лисиця хапає його.

 

The Cock: Stop, stop, fox. If you eat me up you will never know in what respect you are not like your mother.

 

The Fox: Tell me quickly why I am not like my mother?

 

The Cock: When your mother caught a bird she was always so glad and proud. Before eating her prey… she used to dance around. Oh, she was a famous fox!

 

The Fox: Am I not famous? Look!

 

Починає танцювати.

The Cock: Cock-a-doddle-doo! I am clever! I am brave! I am not at all like my father. He was eaten by the fox, but I will not.

THE ANT AND THE DRAGON-FLY

 

ACT  I.

 

 

 

The Ant (несе важкий мішок): Oh, how tired I am. How hot it is (витирає лоб). But I must work.

 

The Dragon-fly (з’являється танцюючи): How do you do, Ant? Why are you working so hard on this fine day? Look, the sun is shining so brightly, the sky is so blue. Leave you work! Let us play!

 

The Ant: No, no, winter will come, the snow will cover the ground. Where shall I get my food then?

 

The Dragon-fly: Oh, nonsense! You will have plenty of time to work in autumn. But now it is summer. How can you think about winter when it is so hot?

 

The Ant: And what do you do all the time?

 

The Dragon-fly: Just dance and sing all day long. Look how I dance! Isn’t it nice? Don’t you want to dance too? Let us dance together!

 

The Ant: No, no, I have no time. I must work. The winter is long and I must gather much food.

 

The Dragon-fly: Oh, I don’t like winter! I don’t even like to think of it! Good-bye!

 

  Виходить танцюючи.

 

The Ant: All right, Dragon-fly, you don’t want to work in summer, then we shall see what you will do in winter.

   

Виходить.

ACT   II.

 

З’являється бабка, у неї нещасний вигляд.

 

The Dragon-fly: How cold it is. There are no leaves on the trees. There are no flowers in the fields. I am so cold and hungry. What shall I do? Oh, here is Ant’s house.

 

Наближається до хатинки мурашки, стукає у двері.

 

The Ant: Who is there?

 

The Dragon-fly: It’s your friend the Dragon-fly.

 

The Ant: What do you want?

 

The Dragon-fly: Dear Ant, I am so cold and hungry. Help me, please.

 

The Ant: You danced all summer. Now you can dance all winter as well. Good-bye!

 

Зачиняє двері.

 

 

 

 

 

THE COUNTRY MOUSE AND THE CITY MOUSE

 

Вбрання і манери міської і польової мишки дуже контрастні. Польова мишка одягнена в скромну ситцеву сукню, в хусточку, в руках тримає кошик. Її манери спокійні. Вона виражає простоту і наївність. Міська мишка одягнена в нарядну сукню, в капелюшку, в руках тримає сумку. Її манери поривчасті.

 

І.

Польова мишка у себе вдома. До неї приходить в гості міська  мишка.

 

City Mouse: How do you do, my dear Mimmie?

Country Mouse: Oh, my dear Rosy, I am so glad to see you! How was your journey (trip)?

City Mouse: Oh dear! You can’t imagine how tired I am.

 

Country Mouse (співчуваючи): Oh, poor thing. (Люб’язно) Will you have dinner with me? Take off your hat.

 

 

 

City Mouse: Thank you, my dear. (Сідають. Польова мишка кладе перед гостею зерно. Міська мишка дивиться на нього зневажливо):What a funny dinner. Not a bit of cheese or cake. (Люб’язно, поблажливо): Come to my house. I have cheese every day for my dinner.

Country Mouse: Thank you. I shall come with you.

Прибирає зі столу, і вони залишають кімнату.

 

II.

 

 

В кімнаті міської мишки.

Country Mouse: Oh how tired I am and hungry. I never went so far from my house.

City Mouse: Mow we shall rest and eat. Come here. There must be a cake. (Дивиться навкруги). Here it is. (Сідають і починають їсти). It is better than corn.

Раптом чути нявчання.

Country Mouse: What is it?

City Mouse: That is the cat. Run!

Country Mouse: Why must we run from the cat?

City Mouse (зіскакує, поривчасто тягне подругу в куток, остання підкоряється): Never stay in the kitchen when the cat is there. She will eat you up. Let’s go into the closet. There are many apples there. I like apples.

 

Ідуть в другий куток сцени. Польова мишка, побачивши яблука, сплескує руками.

Country Mouse: What a lot of apples! And what a nice smell comes from there.

City Mouse: It is cheese.

Country Mouse: Let us try some.

Начебто поривається в куток, на який вказувала. Міська мишка з жахом хапає її за руку і спиняє.

City Mouse: No, no! It is in a trap.

Country Mouse: What is a trap?

City Mouse: Do you see the cheese in it? If you only touch it something comes down on your head and kills you. Eat the apples.

Вони починають їсти, але раптом чути гавкання.

Country Mouse: What is that?

City Mouse: It is the fox terrier. Run! (Різко тягне подругу в куток, остання підкоряється).

Country Mouse: Why must we run from the fox terrier?

City Mouse: If he catches you, he will choke you. (Вона робить страшні очі і стискає собі горло).

Country Mouse (безпорадно опускає руки і говорить зітхаючи): Oh, then I’d better go home. In my home there are no cats, no traps (показує рукою ліворуч і праворуч) and no fox terrier (обома руками розводить перед собою. Потім, підперши щоку однією рукою, а  другу поклавши під лікоть першої, говорить спокійним тоном). I should rather eat my corn in peace than your cake and cheese in such danger. (На останньому слові знижує тон і широко розплющує злякані очі, потім скромно прощається, опустивши руки). Good-bye!

City Mouse (розгублено і розчаровано):  Good-bye!

 

 

 

ON THE GLADE

 

The kitten                      The puppy

The frog                       The mother-cat

The cock

 

The kitten: Where am I? I lost my way… I want my mammy-y-y-y. (Плаче).

 

The frog: Kua-kua. I am a frog called Hop-stop. Hop-stop! (побачивши котеня) And what fish are you?

The kitten: I am a kitten fish.

The frog: Never saw one. Where do you live?

The kitten:  I don’t know.

The frog: What are you doing here?                                             

The kitten: Crying.

The frog: Why? What’s the matter?

The kitten: I want my mammy-y-y-y. (Плаче).

The frog: Then call her.

The kitten: I don’t know how to miaou.

The frog: I’ll teach you. Goggle your eyes like that (витріщає очі). Open your mouth like that (відкриває рот). And begin: cwa-cwa-cwa.

The kitten (наслідуючи): Crane-crane-crane.

The frog: No, no, don’t call crane. I see the frog’s song is not for you (підстрибуючи виходить). Cwa-cwa-cwa.

The kitten (йдучи через сцену): Where am I? I lost my way. I want my mammy-y-y-y (плаче).

 

З’являється півень.

 

 

The cock: I am a cock. I have a feather frock. What kind of bird are you?

 The kitten (плачучи): I am a kitten bird.

The cock: Where do you live?

The kitten: I don’t know.

The cock: What are you doing here?

The kitten: Crying.

The cock: Why? What’s the matter?

The kitten: I want my mammy-y-y-y (плаче).

The cock: Then call her.

The kitten: I don’t know how to miaou.

The cock: I’ll teach you. Stretch your neck like that! Close your eyes like that!  And begin: cock-a-doodle-doo!

The kitten (намагається наслідувати): The cock can do nothing.

The cock (сердито): What do you mean I can do nothing?! You know what I am?

  I am a cock.

  Better than a clock

  In time exact

I’ll wake you up.

Who has a cock

Does not need a clock.

 

That’s what I am! And you are just a silly kitten.

 

Півень виходить.

 

The kitten: Where am I? I lost my way. I want my mammy-y-y.

 

Вбігає цуценя.

 

 

The puppy: I am а doggy called Bobby. I am brave, be afraid! (побачивши цуценя) bow-wow, bow-wow, bow-wow.

The kitten: Miaou, mammy-y-y.

The puppy: I’ll chase you from here! bow-wow, bow-wow!

The kitten: Miaou, mammy! She will come and you will be sorry.

The puppy: Dogs are not afraid of cats. Dogs can bite cats. Dogs can choke cats.

The kitten: Miaou, mammy!

Вбігає кішка-мати, вона підбігає до котеняти.

The mother-cat: Darling! At last I have found you, my dear. But who has scared you, my dear?

The kitten: This puppy.

The mother-cat: You have scared my baby! Psh-psh-psh (наступає на цуценя).

The puppy (відходить назад): Bow-wow, bow-wow. Dogs are not afraid of cats.

The mother-cat (знову наступає): I’ll teach you a lesson! Psh-psh-psh.

The puppy(відходить назад, жалібно): Bow-wow, bow-wow, bow-wow. Dogs can bite cats.

The mother-cat: I’ll scratch your eyes out! Psh-psh-psh.

The puppy (відходить назад, жалібно): Bow-wow, bow-wow, bow-wow. Dogs can choke cats.

The kitten: Miaou, mammy!

The mother-cat (підбігає до нього): Darling! (згадуючи щось) But who has taught you to miaou so nicely?

The kitten: This puppy.

The puppy (підстрибує і кричить): Yes! I am the famous teacher of cats!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

THE LITTLE HOUSE IN THE WOOD

The Mouse comes up to a little house in the middle of the stage.

 

 

Mouse: I am the Mouse. This is my house.

 

The Frog jumps up to the Mouse.

 

Frog: Croak, croak! Hallo! Who are you?

Mouse: I am the Mouse. And who are you?

Frog: I am the Frog. May I live with you?

Mouse: Yes, you may. Please, come here.

 

The Cock comes up to them.

 

Cock: Cock-a-doodle-doo! How do you do! Who are you?

Mouse: I am the Mouse.

Frog: I am the Frog.

Cock: I am the Cock. May I live with you?

Mouse: Yes, you may, but don’t wake us up early.

Frog: Please, don’t wake us up early!

Cock: No, no, don’t worry about that!

Mouse, Frog (together): Come here, please!

 

The Hare comes up to the house.

 

Hare: How do you do! Who are you?

Mouse: I am the Mouse.

Frog: I am the Frog.

Cock: I am the Cock. Who are you?

Hare: I am the Hare. May I live with you?

Mouse, Frog, Cock (together): Yes, you may!

 

The Hedgehog comes up to them.

 

 

Hedgehog: How do you do! Who are you?

Mouse: I am the Mouse.

Frog: I am the Frog.

Cock: I am the Cock.

Hare: I am the Hare.  Who are you?

Hedgehog: I am the Hedgehog.  May I live with you?

Mouse, Frog, Cock, Hedgehog (together): Yes, you may!

Cock: But please, don’t prick us!

Hedgehog: Oh, no, don’t worry about that!

All: Come here, please!

 

The Fox comes up to them.

 

 

Fox: How do you do, my dear friends! Who are you?

Mouse: I am the Mouse.

Frog: I am the Frog.

Cock: I am the Cock.

Hare: I am the Hare. 

Hedgehog: I am the Hedgehog. Who are you?

Fox: I am your friend, the Fox! May I live with you?

All: No, no, you are bad, you want to eat us up!

The Fox runs away.
