План-конспект уроку в 7 класі

Тема: Здоровий спосіб життя. Спорт у моєму житті

Тип уроку: урок вдосконалення мовленнєвих навичок.

Практичні: повторити лексичний матеріал з теми і навчити його використовувати в мовленні на рівні фрази та понадфразової єдності, навчити сприймати на слух зміст автентичних текстів у звукозапису, ознайомити учнів з видами спорту у Великій Британії, читати тематичний текст і організувати бесіду за змістом прочитаного на рівні зв’язного висловлювання, навчити учнів складати правила з використанням модальних дієслів, спираючись на опору, складати висловлювання з теми «Спорт у житті людей».

Розвиваючі:стимулювати комунікативну мотивацію, розвивати мовленнєву реакцію, ініціативу мовлення, уяву, слухову короткочасну пам'ять, оперативну пам'ять, здібності логічно, послідовно викладати думки англійською мовою, вдосконалювати вміння виділяти головне, робити висновки, розвивати соціокультурну та комунікативну компетенції.

Виховні:виховувати культуру спілкування, прищеплювати почуття поваги до народу - носія  мови, формувати сприйняття іноземної мови як засобу спілкування

Освітні: вчити учнів взаємодіяти в комунікативних ситуаціях.

Topic Sport in our life

 

Objectives:

  •           to enrich students’ vocabulary on the topic;
  •           to develop the ability of reading for specific information;
  •           to develop listening skills;
  •           to develop students’ speaking skills expressing their attitude to sport, their vision of the problem;
  •           to make students aware of the advantages and disadvantages of sport in life;
  •           to support reasonable attitude to spending money.

Equipment: copies of the texts, flashcards with vocabulary tasks, recordings, presentation

 

Procedure

І  Introduction

Today we are going to speak about sport. We are going to

  •         Practice vocabulary
  •         Make up sport rules
  •         Speak about advantages and disadvantages of sport
  •         Learn about Sports in Britain

Warming up

Listen and guess the kind of sport (the students listen to the fragments from sport programmes and guess the kind of sport)

 

 

 

 

ІI The main part of the lesson

1 Vocabulary work.

To be able to do all this you should revise vocabulary.

      a)  Let us see what sports you can name. (Working with the presentation/smartboard)

      b) Name ball games

      c) Name outdoor games

      d) Name indoor games

      e) Name winter sports

      f) Name summer sports

       h) Say what the sportsmen do

        i) What place are the following sports done

        j) Magic chair- this activity is good for the classroom. A student is sitting in a chair with his back to the blackboard. Somebody writes a word on the blackboard. Children explain the words in English the student should guess what is written. For online classes each student can explain his own word

Students work in groups Each group reads their text, understands it, then one representative from a group goes to another group and tells the information

Examples of texts

Football

The British have a reputation for being mad about sports. Football is the most popular game. It appeared in 1863. Football, or soccer, is an example of a professional game. The game of football was first played in Britain, and later people began to play football in other countries. The football players have their uniform and use a round ball. There are 11 players in each team. The final of the football competition takes place every May in London.

Rugby

Rugby is a popular British sport which is played in other countries The game is played by two teams of fifteen players each. The game takes place on a field 100 metres long and 80 metres wide. Rugby is played with an oval or egg-shaped ball which can be carried by hands and kicked. The ball is passed from hand to hand in order to be thrown across the goal line. The players wear helmets, masks

Cricket

Cricket is a popular summer sport in Britain. People played cricket in England as early as 1550. There are many cricket clubs in the country. Cricket players wear a certain uniform — white boots, a white T-shirt and white trousers. There are two teams of 11 players each and test matches between national teams can last up to 5 days

Tennis

Tennis is another favourite sport of the Englishmen. The history goes back to the 11 century.  It is played by two or four players. They usually wear caps shorts and T-shirts and need rackets and a tennis ball. People all over the world know Wimbledon which is the centre of lawn tennis.
