                                                       Дія І

На сцені – стіл, стілець. На столі  - книжки, будильник, подушка. Виходить учень, сідає за стіл, бере в руки книжку, листає її, але дуже швидко кидає в сторону.

Student:

Oh, teachers, look at all these books!

Are they so interesting and easy to remember

all characters, the stories of their lives, the moral..?

They are so boring!

Songs, novels and everything’s in English

It’s difficult just to distinguish!

 Who is that Hamlet?

 Who is Desdemona?

Oh, maybe they’re friends!

And their neighbour’s Watson, or Dr. Watson?

Is he German or French or maybe Polish?

Well, that’s enough and here is my pillow!

Come in, my sweetest dreams!

Лунає лірична музика, на балконі з’являється Джульєтта. За нею спостерігає Ромео.

Romeo: It is my lady. Oh, it is my love!

Juliet:    Ay me!

Romeo: She speaks. Oh, speak again, bright angel!

Juliet:    Oh, Romeo, Romeo! Wherefore are you Romeo? How did you come here? The orchard walls are high and hard to climb.

Romeo: Love helps me to get over these walls.

Juliet:    Do you love me? I know you will say “Yes”, and I will take your word.

Звучить пісня “All You Need Is Love”

                                                     

 

                                                          Дія ІІI

Лунає весела музика, по залі проходить Червона Шапочка. В руках у неї кошик з пиріжками. Вона пропонує глядачам пиріжки.

Little Red Riding Hood:

 I have to go to my granny

You know she is always ill!

My mum has made some patties

They’re so tasty and smell so sweet

But I’m lack of pocket money!

 What shall I do?

I can sell the patties!

Not all, of course,

Some for my granny I’ll leave.

(Підходить до глядачів та пропонує їм купити пиріжки).

Oh, please, buy some sweet patties!

You won’t? OK, then … treat yourself,

Take one or even two …

Oh, poor me, without pocket money

How can I buy some cheeps or a can of Cola?

(Помічає Джульєтту, плутає її з бабцею та звертається до неї).

Oh, dear granny, I’ve come and brought you some sweet patties

How are you? Are you sad?

(Джульєтта налякана, вона не розуміє, що відбувається).

Juliet:

Who are you? Help me! Where is Romeo? Romeo, help me, please!

(Біжить зі сцени).

                                                     Дія ІV

Червона Шапочка розчаровано розводить руками, а їй на зустріч, співаючи пісню “Here we go round the mulberry bush” виходять семеро гномів.

За кулісами лунає страшенний крик. З’являється розлючений Отелло.

Othello: (звертається до Червоної Шапочки, яка не розуміє, хто це і чому він злий на неї)

Desdemona!!!

Have you prayed tonight, Desdemona?......

(Наступає на дівчину, душить її, лунає крик)

                                                Дія  VI

Лунає спокійна сумна мелодія, виходить замріяний Гамлет, він нікого не помічає, в руці череп.

Hamlet:

To be, or not to be: that is the question:

Whether ‘tis nobler in the mind to suffer

The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,

Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,

And by opposing end them? To die: to sleep;

No more; and by a sleep to say we end

The heart-ache and the thousand natural shocks

Лунає піратська пісня, проходить банда Джона Сільвера, не помічаючи Гамлета. Одноногий Джон роздивляється навкруги, звіряючись з картою. Раптом він помічає скелю, схожу на обличчя Флінта.

Yo, ho, ho

Fifteen men on a dead man’s chest

Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum.

Duink and the devil had done for the rest

Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum.

John Silver:

Hey, men, look there, the Flint’s face!

If those are his eyes and that is a nose… It says here: “From the nose to the toes finds the way to the treasure”

A-ha-ha! This is what we are looking for!

The pirates:

Let’s run to the boat!

John Silver:

Why you, blind sheep! Treasure is there! Go there!

(Помічає спантеличеного Гамлета)

John Silver:

Who are you? What are you doing on my island? Have you stolen my treasure? Tell me the truth!!!

Hamlet: I don’t know you and I don’t like the way you’re talking to me, sir, I challenge you to a duel! (кидає на підлогу печатку).

John Silver:

I accept your challenge. (Піднімає печатку).

                                                Дія  VIIІ

Під музику з кінофільму «Рожева пантера» до Гамлета підходить Шерлок Холмс, він тримає в руці збільшувальне скло та уважно оглядає Гамлета.

Sherlock Holmes:

My dear sirs, you know that we were mixed

Because that student doesn’t like to read.

We are right now in his dreams…

It isn’t easy as it seems

For Sherlock Holmes to solve this case.

But we will find a proper place

For Juliet, oh come and look:

Your book was written by Shakespeare!

I wish you happiness my dear!

Othello, Hamlet, follow her

And give the readers happy hours.

And where are these pirates from?

John Silver with his merry friends

Will go to the “Treasure Island”

The Seven Dwarfs were also lost but where?

That little girl is waiting for your help

What book’s she from? “Little Red Riding Hood”.

Oh thank you, clever pupils and goodbye,

Your friends are home now, safe and very happy!

Дзвенить будильник, учень прокидається.

Student:

Ah, well, what a nightmare!
