PRACTICE
2. Ex. 2, p. 106. Divide your class into two teams and play a guessing game. Each team chooses a pupil to come up to the front of the class. The teacher gives a set of Handouts 2 cards to the representative of Team 1(P1) and sets the timer for 1 minute. P1 looks at the pictures and mimes the actions on the cards without showing the cards to his/her team. The rest of the team tries to guess the actions, asking questions as in the example. P1 answers ‘Yes, I did’ or ‘No, I didn`t’. If the pupils manage to guess the action, their team gets 1 point. The teacher counts the number of points. Then the teacher sets the timer for Team 2. The procedure is the same for Team 2. At the end, the team with more points wins.
Do a physical exercise
3. Ex. 3, p. 106. Divide students into groups of four. Tell students that they are going to listen to the rhyme. Give out materials from Handouts 3 file and glue sticks to each group. Play the Audio and ask students to glue the pictures onto the film in the correct order according to the text of the rhyme. Play the Audio 2-3 times more making pauses for pupils to repeat. Then ask a few volunteers to say the rhyme using the film of his/her group as a prompt.
