Westminster Abbey is a church. It is more than 900 years. Many famous people were buried there. |
Kings and queens were crowned in Westminster Abbey. |
Buckingham Palace is the London home of the Queen.
You can see the Changing of the Guard every morning at 11 o’clock. |
The West End is the most beautiful part of London. Piccadilly Circus is in the centre of the West End. There are the best hotels, art galleries, museums, theatres and concert halls, parks in the West End. |
Trafalgar Square is London’s most famous square.
It is the most popular place for people to meet. There are also two beautiful fountains there.

There is a monument to Admiral Nelson there. Admiral Nelson got the victory in the Battle of Trafalgar against Napoleon in 1805.

The East End is the part of London where working people live. There are plants and factories. You can't see many fine houses, parks or gardens in the East End. |
