Goldilocks and the Three Bears
Once upon a time
There lived Goldilocks.
She was a little girl.
She was blonde, of course!
One day she went for a walk
In the dense pine forest.
Goldilocks was a brave girl.
And she was not modest!
She came upon a house
And knocked at the door.
But no one answered.
“Whose permission am I waiting for?”
Goldilocks walked right in.
In the kitchen of that cottage
There were three pots
Of delicious porridge.
Goldilocks tasted the porridge
From the first pot.
Suddenly she exclaimed,
“This porridge is too hot!”
Then she tasted the porridge
From the second pot.
Goldilocks exclaimed,
“This porridge is too cold!”
So the girl tasted the porridge
From the third pot.
“Ahhh, this porridge is just right!”
And she ate it up. Why not?
After she had eaten
The three bears’ breakfast,
Goldilocks decided
That it was time to rest.
Goldilocks walked into the living room
Where he saw three chairs.
There were three chairs
One for each of the three bears.
Goldilocks sat on the first chair
To rest her feet.
Suddenly she exclaimed,
“This chair is too big!”
So she sat on the second chair
To rest for a while.
“This chair is too soft!”
Goldilocks whined.
Finally, Goldilocks tried the last
And the smallest chair.
“Ahhh, this chair is just right!”
She sighed and sat down there.
Goldilocks was very tired
So she went upstairs
To the bears’ bedroom.
“Are there beds anywhere?”
She lay down in the first bed
But it was too hard.
The girl lay down in the second one
But it wasn’t soft enough.
Then Goldilocks lay down
In the third bed and it was just night.
Goldilocks fell asleep
The bears came home at night.
Goldilocks woke up
And saw the three bears.
She screamed, “Help!”
And ran down the stairs.
Goldilocks opened the door
And ran away into the forest.
She never returned to the house
Of the three bears, to be honest!
