Урок у 6-а класі           

Тема: Great Britain. Countries and People.

Мета:

Навчальна: ввести нові лексичні одиниці з теми та тренувати учнів у їх використанні, ознайомити учнів з країнами, що складають Сполучене Королівство Великої Британії  та Північної Ірландії;

Розвиваюча: розвивати навички аудіювання та говоріння, увагу та фонематичний слух, здогадку,  сприяти розвитку самостійного мислення, розширити знання учнів про країну, мову якої вони вивчають;

Виховна: вчити учнів співпрацювати у групах,  виховувати повагу до культур інших країн, формувати позитивне ставлення до вивчення мови.

Обладнання: роздатковий матеріал, ноутбук, монітор, презентація РР, відео з добірки матеріалів для вчителів, наданих Британською радою, дошка, постери.

The Unite Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, London, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Belfast, Cymraeg

Б) Значення слів:

Enchanting, separate country, population, unique customs, tartan kilt, bagpipe, tossing cable, male choir, causeway

3. Аудіювання (перегляд відео)

You will watch a film about an English-speaking country - The Unite Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. When we say “Britain” or “England” we mean the UK, though it’s not the same. England is a part of Great Britain and the UK. Three more countries – Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland belong to the UK as well.

While watching the film find out the capitals of these countries, their population and complete the table.

Клас ділиться на 4 групи, кожна група повинна розповісти про одну з країн Сполученого Королівства, використавши запропоновані слова
