PROCEDURE
I. Introduction:
- Good morning, my dear students! I’m very glad to see you at our today’s lesson. How are you? Show me if you are fine using reactions on your screen.
Warming-up:
-Look at the map. What countries can you see? Do you recognize them? What are they? (the USA, Canada, Australia, the UK, New Zealand). SLIDE 1
- How do you think all of them are connected? ( The English language is spoken in all of them).
- So, the topic of our lesson is “English-speaking countries”. SLIDE 2
At our previous lessons we learned about three of these countries. What are they? (the USA, Canada and Australia). And today we’re going to enrich your knowledge about them and sum everything up you know about the USA, Canada and Australia through different kinds of activities such as listening, speaking, asking and answering questions, working in teams etc..
I think this experience will be useful for your further education for geography and history lessons. And of course if you have an opportunity to travel to these countries the information will be useful to you.
While doing these activities I would like you to evaluate yourself using Evaluation Card I sent you before the lesson via Classroom application. SLIDE 3
