Тип уроку: інтегрований.

Інновації: STEM- технологія.

Очікувані результати: повторити лексичний матеріал з теми «Різдво», дізнатися про традиції святкування Різдва у різних країнах Європи, розширити світогляд про культуру різних народів, створити лепбук.

Обладнання: малюнки з видами різних міст Європи, конверти із завданням,  кольорові олівці, фарби, клей, ножиці.

Регламент  уроку: 1. Вступна частина ( до 4 хв )

                                  2. Основна частина ( до 30 хв )

                                  3. Заключна частина ( до 6 хв )

Хід уроку

I. Introduction

1. Greeting.

Good morning, children! Take your seats. Let`s begin our lesson.

2. Announcing the aims and the topic.

T: Dear children! Today we are going to learn about a special day in December. On this special day people usually give and receive presents, and eat a delicious meal with their family. Can you guess what we will study today?”

T: Yes, it’s Christmas.

3. Warming up.

T: Let’s watch the video and remember the words on the topic of Christmas.

4. Answer the questions.

T: Now answer the questions, please.

When do English people celebrate Christmas?

Is it a happy holiday?

What do people do some days before Christmas?

How do people decorate a Christmas tree?

Where do they put their presents?

Who comes at night?

What do English people do on Christmas Eve? Why?

II. Main part.

5. Doing project.

T: So, today we are going to talk about Christmas traditions in different countries of Europe. We have five groups and five envelopes with letters in them. Your task is to make a word from letters. This word is the name of the country. You will prepare a report about Christmas traditions of this country.

(Words in the envelopes: 1 group- Finland                                2- group- Austria

                                        3 group- France                                  4- Bulgaria

                                                                             5- Italy

Today we held a thematic lesson dedicated to Christmas traditions in countries of Europe. At the lesson we learned a lot about them.
