Тема уроку:“Doing shopping”

 

Мета: 1)Практична: навчити учнів нової лексики теми; навчати учнів ставити запитання та давати відповіді на них; практикувати у письмі;проконтролювати мовленнєві вміння; працювати в групах та в парах.

2) Розвиваюча: розвивати фонематичний слух, пам'ять, уяву, мислення та навички читання, говоріння, аудіювання та письма; розвивати вміння аудіювання.

3) Виховна: виховувати в учнів інтерес до мови, що вивчається.

Обладнання уроку: підручник, зошит, додатковий матеріал.

 

 

Хід уроку

1. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення.

 

1) Привітання. Організація класу. Бесіда з черговим. Повідомлення практичних цілей уроку.

 

T. Good morning, pupils! I am glad to see you. How are you? Who is on duty today? Is anybody absent? Why is she/he absent? Thank you. Now let`s start our lesson. We have a lot of work to do. The topic of our lesson today is “Doing shopping”.

 

2) Уведення в іншомовну атмосферу.

Еnd I have prepared special proverbs and sayings on the posters:

 

To buy for a song- купити за безцінь.

To sell like hot cakes – щвидко розійтися ( про товар).

To save money for a rainy day – зберігати гроші на чорний день.

 

How do you understand them?

Explain them to us.

 

II. Основна частина уроку.

 

1) Введення нової лексики.

T. Now pupils, I`d like to begin our work with the pronunciation of words of ex. 1, p. 37. Repeat after me.

 

 

 

 

2) Лексична розминка.

T. What do we call: a shop where meat is bought ( butcher`s shop);where they sell newspapers, magazines, notebooks and pens (at the newsagent`s); where you can buy some medicine or a toothpaste, a shampoo or a bar of soap ( at the chemist`s).

 

3) Мовленнєва зарядка.

20. – Do you like to go shopping?
    • Do you often go shopping?
    • Who usually goes shopping in your family?
    • What things or products do you usually buy?
    • What colors trousers do you like to wear?
    • What colors shoes do you like to wear?

 

4) Аудіювання

- Підготовчий етап

T. We have already mentioned different kinds of shops. But let`s name one more place where we do shopping from time to time. So listen to a Chinese Tale “ Buying shoes”, try to understand it and be ready to do some tasks. The following vocabulary may be helpful:

A fair – ярмарок;

A pattern – модель, шаблон, викройка;

To be a good fit – бути якраз упору;

A merchant – лав очник, купець;

To trust – вірити, довіряти.

 

- Етап слухання тексту

“ Buying shoes”

Once upon a time a man went to the fair. He wanted to buy himself a pair of shoes. Before he left, he very carefully drew a pattern of each foot. But he forgot to take these patterns with him. When he came to the fair, he saw a pair of shoes that he liked and tried them on. The shoes were a good fit. “ Alas”, thought the man, “ I cannot buy the shoes because my patterns are at home”. So he said to the merchant: “ I shall return later in the day and buy the shoes”. He went home, took the patterns, and came back to the fair. But it was too late – the shoes were not there. “ What shall I do?” cried the man. A crowd of people gathered round him and he told them his story. “But why dsd you not try the shoes on your own feet? one of the people asked. The man answered: “ oh, I trust the patterns more than I do my feet”.

6) Письмо.

T. Open your workbook on page 24, exercise 3. Complete the dialogue with the words from the box.

 

7) Говоріння.

T. Make up situations with the groups of words:

a) last week, a bicycle, to be no good  (нікуди не годитися);

b) to buy, to pinch (жати (про взуття)), a pair of shoes;

c) new gloves, to play snowball, wet.

 

 

III. Заключна частина уроку.

 

1) Домашнє завдання.

T. So, your home task will be: WB. Ex. 2.,  p. 24.(answer the questions).

T. thank you, children. I am glad, that you have worked well today. During the lesson we spoke about shops and shopping. You spoke, wrote and listened to the text. You worked hard and your marks are the following…
