ВИДИ ПОГОДИ»

(6 клас, 2-й рік навчання)

Тема:  « Погода. Види погоди»

Цілі:

Освітні:

узагальнити знання учнів з теми «Пори року. Погода.»;

формувати навички вживання в усному мовленні лексичних одиниць;

активізувати вживання вивчених граматичних структур;

удосконалювати навички читання, аудіювання та письма;

Розвиваючі:

розвивати пізнавальну активність учнів;

розвивати різні види пам’яті (слухову і зорову, оперативну та тривалу);

розвивати швидку мовленнєву реакцію;

Виховні:

формувати загальнокультурні вміння спілкування з людьми;

формувати пізнавальний інтерес до оточуючого світу;

формувати позитивне ставлення до процесу навчання та отримання знань.

Обладнання: підручник,  аудіозаписи пісень та тексту для аудіювання, картки для індивідуальної роботи, картки з малюнками, малюнки з теми, презентація.

Хід уроку

I. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного матеріалу.

T. Good morning, dear children. I am glad to see you. I hope you are fine today.      So let’s start our lesson.

T. Who is on duty today?

T. So children, today we are going to speak about weather and different kinds of weather. At our lesson we will read the text about weather, listen to the monologue about seasons, speak about the weather forecast for February, do different and interesting exercises to the topic, sing songs and dance.

• Warming-up.  

T. Let’s start. Answer my questions:

• What is the weather like today?
• What season is it now?
• What is the weather like in spring (winter)?
• How many seasons  has a year?
• How many months are there in a year?
• What are the summer months?
• Which is the coldest spring month? 
• What is your favourite season? Why?

T. Let’s  sing a song about weather:

T. At the last lesson we have learnt about comparative and superlative degrees of comparison of adjectives. And now let’s revise the grammar. You should write the correct form of adjectives.

20. Be attentive during our lesson. There will be many different tasks and your will get some round cards of different colours for each task. Each colour has its point. At the end of the lesson you will count your points and get your marks.

T. Before we start reading the text  we should practice our new vocabulary. Look at the screen. There you have English words and pictures.  Repeat  words all together after me and guess the meanings of them by pictures. Is it clear?

T. And now let’s read the text. Read it attentively to be able to do exercises after reading.

T. P1 begins reading the text aloud. All the rest follow the reading in their books, then the second pupil goes on reading and so on. Is it clear?

Sometimes the clouds are very low, so low that they lie on the ground, the trees, the plants, the grass. We call that fog.
     There are little drops of water that make bigger drops. These drops are heavy. They cannot float in the air, so they fall down. And that is rain. When rain and sunshine meet, we can see a very beautiful rainbow.
      When the air is very cold, the raindrops freeze. They freeze into hard little balls. We call that hail.
      In winter the water freezes in the clouds, and then falls in little flakes or snowflakes. That is snow. Millions and millions of  snowflakes come down. They are white, cold and soft.
      And what is ice? It is cold and hard. If it is thick, it is very strong. The ice is so strong that you can skate on it. But do you know what ice is? It is water. If you put ice in a warm place, it melts, and you can see that it is only frozen water.

T. Look at the blackboard. What do you see there? Yes, it is a rainbow. The rainbow has 7 colours. Come to the board, choose your favourite colour. On the other side of the paper you’ll  find one word. Your should say what is the meaning of it. Who wants to start?

T. And now we are going to speak about the weather forecast for February. Choose any date you like and say:

• what was the temperature at night and during the day;
• what was the weather like;
• the wind direction.

T. We spoke much about different weather. To sun everything up let’s play one more game. I have a magic hat. There are several pieces of paper inside. You must take one paper, read what is written there and say something about he weather.
