TEMA: Світ кіно та театру «The World of Cinema and Theatre»

ПІДТЕМА: Улюблені фільми “Favourite movies”

ВИД УРОКУ: комбінований

Обладнання: ноутбук,  мультимедійний проектор, екран, Internet сторінки: British Council; роздатковий матеріал, авторська презентація Microsoft Power Point.

ЦІЛІ ТА ЗАДАЧІ:

Практична: Створювати умови для розвитку комунікативної компетенції учнів. Удосконалювати мовні уміння по темі «Театр та кіно»

Навчальна:  Розвиток умінь монологічного та діалогічного мовлення. Повторення та активізація вивчених лексичних одиниць та мовних зворотів; розвиток сприйняття іншомовного мовлення на слух; уміння систематизувати і узагальнювати отримані знання.

Розвиваюча: Розвиток творчої  уяви та мислення; формування уміння колективної мовної взаємодії; формування міжпредметних навичок та умінь.

Виховна:   Формування лінгвістичної та соціокультурної компетенцій; виховання культури учнів засобами іноземної мови. Виховувати поняття раціонального використання часу. Поняття цікавого та здорового способу життя та відпочинку.

ХІД УРОКУ:

І. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення.

1. Привітання.

T.: - Good morning, children! It’s nice to see you.

P.: - Good morning, teacher! It’s nice to see you too.

T.: - How are you today?

P.: - We are fine, thank you.

T.: - Take the seats. Let’s start our lesson.

2. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку

T: Today at the lesson, we are going to continue speaking about cinema, we’ll review different kinds of films, we’ll practice talking about your favourite ones, we’ll develop your listening and reading skills.

2.1 Фонетична зарядка

Look at the screen. You see some phrases about TV and cinema. We are training  pronunciation of sounds w, l, ?. Now, repeat after me.

 1) Watch TV

Watch the film

Be always progressive

And win

2) Life is the real world where all people are actors.

 3) Watching television is not always pleasure, but a good leisure

1.          Повторення та активізація лексики уроку.

1.     T.: - Look at the blackboard (screen). What kinds of films do you like to watch?
2.     Гра “Listen and Guess the Word”

1.     A kind of film telling about the life of cowboys in America. (a western)
2.     A film that is funny or has a happy ending. (a comedy)
3.     A kind of film about dangerous and exciting situations. (an adventure film)
4.     A kind of film telling about some military events. (a war film)
5.     A film using drawing and not real people or animals. (a cartoon)
6.     A film about life in the future, often describing space travel and life on other planets. (a science fiction film)

 

 

С) Give recommendations to these people. Which genre of movies suit them?

• Nick is three years old. He likes funny stories about animals. He can watch them for a long time. He is fond of imaginary characters. They can speak, dance and sing and who, in fact, can live like a man. 

 

• Ann is seventeen. She prefers films about love. They are touching and exciting. She likes it when they end happily.

 

• Tom likes films full of actions. They are dynamic, exciting and impressive. The main character/characters is/are always strong and brave. They usually fight for justice.
• Kate is fond of comical situations.  They are full of jokes. Such films make you laugh and feel happy.  They improve your mood. They are funny.

 

• Sam likes exciting and dynamic films. Sometimes they describe comical situations. They are full of adventures.

 

• Liz wants to know as much as possible. She likes films about nature, space, inventions, science. They tell you about different processes.

Jack: Hi, Ismael. How are you?

Ismael: Hi, Jack. I’m OK but I’ve got loads of homework.

Jack: Me too, but would you like to come with us to the cinema tonight?

Ismael: Who’s ‘us’?

Jack: Me, Jamie, Nicola and Selina.

Ismael: OK, and what’s the film?

Jack: We don’t know. We can’t decide. There’s that new horror film, ‘Light and Dark’.

Ismael: No, no, no! I don’t like horror films.

Jack: OK, well, there’s a comedy about a school.

Ismael: Oh, no more school, please! What about a romcom?

Jack: OK, I like science fiction. Let’s see that.

Ismael: At 8 o’clock. Let’s meet at 7:30 outside the cinema.

Jack: OK. See you later.

Ismael: Bye.

2. You are asked to do a kind of research work for the teenage magazine “Cool”. You should find out if cinema and TV are popular with young people your age.
   Ask your friend.
