Цілі: узагальнити, систематизувати вивчений матеріал з теми; перевірити рівень засвоєння; продовжувати тренувати в аудіюванні; поповнювати словниковий запас учнів; розвивати діалогічне й монологічне мовлення та розуміння мови на слух; розвивати креативне й логічне мислення; розвивати в учнів уміння самоконтролю; виховувати увагу до однокласників та їх думки; підвищувати інтерес до вивчення англійської мови.
Обладнання: підручник, телевізор з DVD; проекти; вірш; прислів’я; роздруківки.
Тип уроку: узагальнення вивченого матеріалу.
Хід уроку.
Greetings: Т: Good morning! Glad to see you! I hope you are fine!

Aim: T: Today children we have our final lesson about school and school life. And the topic of our lesson is “ School in our life “.
Warming up: T: 1) On our blackboard you can see a poem. Let’s read poem.
We learn such lots of things at school,
And new ones everyday,
Ї think the names of some of them
Are very hard to say.
2) After the home, the school is the place where pupils spend a lot of time. School is not only a place of education, it is a place, where pupils develop their personal skills

Speaking T: Now let’s talk about our school. Answer the questions.
You are right. There is one Chinese proverb
I hear and I forget, I see and I remember, I do and I understand.
When we only hear we may forget, but when we see we remember and when we do we understand. So, a school improves the skills.
• Can you say that your school is your “second home”?
Check on homework T: And now as usual check on the homework. What was your homework for today? Let’s start with your dialogues. Well who presents projects about our school?
Watching and listening T: I think it is time to watch a video about one English school. After the watching you have to answer the questions and talk about a typical English school.
Thank you for your good listening and watching! Do you want to go to Cambridge and study there? OK. It’s a great opportunity all time listen to, practice, improve English.
Rest time T: Let’s rest now. Listen and sing the song “5 rules”-.
Speaking T: 1)What can you say about school rules? Is it very important to have school rules?
What school rules for pupils do you know?
And what about rules for teachers?
2) And now do the questionnaire. Work out your score. Open your pupil books at p. 29 and do ex. 4. You can see the questions and answers, choose your answer and sum up the results. At p. 30 you can see the results. Do you agree with your score? Start like in the example!

Summarizing T: Thank you for your lesson. It was very interesting to listen to all your opinions about our school, school rules for pupils and teachers. Today we have known more information about schools in England. And maybe you’ll visit English schools in future and these knowledge help you to communicate with people in England.
