Урок з теми „Шекспір” у 8 класі (з використанням презентації)

 

Мета: - ознайомити учнів з життям і творчістю Вільяма Шекспіра;

• удосконалювати навички читання;
• вчити розповідати про життя та творчість Шекспіра, використовуючи лексику з теми;
• розвивати пам’ять, розвивати мислення;
• викликати інтерес до творчості письменника.

Обладнання: комп’ютер,  малюнки  з зображенням В. Шекспіра, презентація

 

Хід уроку

І. Організаційний момент уроку. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку.

 

T: Today we’ll speak about a very famous writer. He is well known all over the world. Guess whom I’m speaking about. (Діти називають письменників)

What facts about Shakespeare do you know?

P1: I know that he wrote “Romeo and Juliet” and “King Lear”.

P2: He founded “The Globe” Theatre.

T: So today you’ll get acquainted with life and creative work of William Shakespeare, read the text, practice in answering the questions on the topic and in speaking about Shakespeare .

 

II. Reading activities.

1. T: So, let’s start reading the facts about Shakespeare’s life. (Учні читають текст на моніторі комп’ютера та перекладають його)

     William Shakespeare was born on the 23d of April 1564 in Stratford-on-Avon.

.

 

 

     At the age of 6 he was sent to school. But he had to leave it at the age of 13 and never went to school again.

.

     His father who couldn’t even write was a glove-maker and William helped him in his trade.

.

     He was a rich man and gave his  son  a good education.

.

     William studied at a grammar school. He could read and translate Latin book

     When  William’s father became poor Shakespeare was 21 and he went to London and became an actor. He began to work in the modern theatre “The Globe”.

     14 years later he became a part owner of “The Globe” theatre in London.

     Shakespeare wrote 37 plays, 17 comedies, 10 historical plays and 7 books of poems.

     But only 18 of them were published in his life time.

 

 

 

 

     The best and the most popular Shakespeare’s works are “King Lear”, “Romeo and Juliet”, “Twelfth Night”, “Hamlet”, “Othello”

     Shakespeare spent the last years of his life at Stratford, where he died, on the same date as his birthday, the 23^rd of April 1616.

     He was buried in the church of Stratford.

     A monument was opened to the memory of the great playwright in the Port’s Corner in Westminster Abbey.
