Main aim/objective

To train grammar accuracy using Conditional 1,2 via experiential learning on the topic “Leisure Time. My Ideal Weekends. Establishing Safety Rules”.

Subsidiary aims/objective

to get children ready to emergency situations which may occur in their life, help them to establish safety rules.

Assumptions

Students take up a questionnaire, ask each other questions, share experience, do some acting out.

Anticipated problem

They are not eager to share because of personal questions, some may be too shy, the other pretend to be too cool to participate.

Possible solution

Keep on asking questions, giving hints, working examples, building rapport/ etc., let them stay anonymous, give the wide range of choice.

Teacher’s and pupils’ materials, visuals:

Visuals with telephone numbers of emergency services in and outside the country, questionnaires, shits of paper for writing notes, flesh cards.

Outcomes

Pupils can speak on the topic “My Leisure. My weekends” using Conditionals, they can find information needed for survival using websites, can write quick notes of questions to each other and answer these questions, can act out short dialogues, can use wikihow in search for some instructions, can learn emergency numbers

Present a visual with different telephone numbers (one table contains only numbers, another is with the names).
