Практична- Навчити розрізняти назви різних будівль, активізуючи вживання нової лексики в мовленні учнів, формувати вміння монологічного висловлювання. Розвивати навички читання, діалогічного мовлення, вміння аудіювати відео та аудіо текст, ігноруючи незнайомі слова.
Освітня-Поглибити знання учнів про різні види будинків, кімнат та речей
Розвиваюча. Розвивати мовну здогадку та мовленнєву реакцію учнів.
Виховна: Прищеплювати любов до рідної домівки, нашої Батьківщини, пам’ятаючи прислів’я There is no Place Like Home (Нема місця кращого за дім).

I. INTRODUCTION- review of the vocabulary from the previous module

Invite students to mingle and to tell their definition, to see how many classmates can guess the word
II. WARMING-UP
Before students open their SB ask them to think about a room they live. Let them tell about their homes and then ask to look at ex.1
T: What are we going to talk about? Look at these pictures. Why the rooms are unusual? What can you see in them?
III. MAIN PART

T: Now you are going to watch video about a room that is shared by two sisters. They had their place designed. Do you think the room has been changed for better? Why? What items from key words ( ex 2) were there in the video?

T: Now, children, will you tell us about your homes and your favourite rooms.
P1: My house is wonderful. There is a playground and a garden near my house. I have got three rooms: a living room, a bedroom, a games room, a kitchen and a bathroom. In my room there are beautiful curtains, a bed, a computer and a TV. This is my home. My home is my castle.
P2: I have got my own room. There is a table, a lamp, a wardrobe, a carpet and a bed in my room. My room is light and cosy. It is the best place in the world. I like my room very much.
P3: I have got a room in Japanese style. The room has a large window. Next to the window there is my bed. The wallpapers of the room are blue. I adore my room.
P4: My bedroom is my favourite room in the house. It has big windows and lovely curtains. I have got a bed, a chest of drawers, a mirror and a wardrobe in the room. It is not large, but it’s very beautiful.
P5: I can’t imagine my house without our kitchen. It has got a fridge, a cooker, a cupboard and all electric appliances. The fridge is my friend, especially on holidays when there is a lot of food there. Our kitchen is the warmest place in the house.
