Travelling to the ABC Planet

Мета: активізувати вивчений лексичний матеріал по темі         

                    «Зовнішність»,  , практикувати учнів у  вживанні лексичних 

                    одиниць в усному та писемному мовленні закріпити знання

                    алфавіту (букв, звуків).

                    Розвивати навички читання, говоріння, письма,

                    аудіювання. Розвивати фонематичний слух. Збагачувати 

                    словниковий запас учнів.

Виховувати інтерес до вивчення іноземної мови.

Обладнання: -    алфавіт

• сузір’я букв, планета «АВС» (малюнки)
• текст віршів, пісні

-    таблиці слів для читання

• аудіо запис фізичної розминки
• наочність «Частини тіла»
• 4 будинки (конверти) з малюнками («Happy Houses»)
• предметні малюнки
• квітка із звуками (малюнок «Phonetic Flower»)
• таблиця з переплутаними буквами (Phonetic Game)
• магнітофон
• робочі зошити

Тип уроку:  урок-подорож, комбінований

Хід уроку

1. Greetings. Aim.

- Good morning, boys and girls!

Today we have got an unusual lesson. We are going to travel to the ABC Planet.

We have to recollect letters and sounds, some words, learn new poems and sing a new song. We’ll read, write and speak English.

Are you ready?

Now we are in the space-vehicles. Let’s start our travelling!

2. Warming-up

(Зупинка на сузір’ї “ABCDEFG”)

- Now we are staying on the constellation “ABCDEFG”. These letters are very friendly. Let’s call them. (Діти називають букви, звуки)

And this constellation proposes us learning the song (Читання, виконання пісні на мотив «Чижик-пижик»)

A    B    C    D    E    F   G

John is hiding far from me

Looking here, looking there

I can’t find him anywhere!

3. Reading

- We are going on our flight. The sky is so dark… Oh, there is something shining over here! It’s the next constellation “H I J K”.

Let’s call these letters and their sounds.

4.   Speaking (“Parts of the Body”). Physical Exercises.

- We are flying in the space.

The flight goes well. You can see the bright star in the darkness. That star is letter “L”. Let’s go there!

Letter “L” wants to introduce its friend. This is a boy. His name is Looby Loo. He is from the ABC Planet. He has lost all his parts of the body.

Let’s gather his parts of the body together!

(Складання частин тіла хлопчика Лубі Лу. Повторення лексики.)

This is his head.

This is his body.

This is his right / left hand / arm / leg / foot.

These are his hands / arms / legs / feet.

 - The boy Looby Loo asks you to sing the song with him and to do some

          exercises. (Учні співають пісню, виконуючи рухи, про які співається)

 Refrain: Here we go Looby Loo

      All in a Saturday night

           1. Put your right hand in

      Put your right hand out

      Put your right hand and shake, shake, shake,

      And turn yourself about.

 (приспів повторюється після кожного куплета)

  2. Put your left hand in…

  3. Put your right foot in…

  4. Put your left foot in…

  5. Put your head in…

  6. Put your whole self in…

     5. Writing. Work in groups.

     - We are going on our flight. And we can see the next constellation

               “M N O P”. These letters live in the Happy Houses. And they have some  

                words inside. Let’s guess what words are hiding in the houses, and write

                them down.

(Кожен учень в групі дістає одне слово із хатинки-конверта, називає це слово, потім диктує по буквам, а всі інші члени групи записують слово у зошити. Після того, як всі групи запишуть слова із своєї хатинки, учитель може запропонувати скласти речення з цими словами. Кращі речення можна записати.)

6. Riddles (Сузір’я “Q R S T U V W”)

    - The letters from the next constellation were stolen by the night. To save

    them we have to solve the riddles. Do you want to help the letters? Let’s

    start!

Riddles

1. Ця буква – друга в англійському слові «білочка».

(Q q, Squirrel)

2. Щоб «Кролик» нам англійською сказати,

Треба нам з цієї літери почати

(R r, rabbit)

3. Змія шипить, і крутиться, і в’ється,

А перша буква в ній як зветься?

(S s, snake)

4. Помідорчики червоні,

Стиглі, запашні…

Називаємо їх з вами

Ми із букви …    (T t, tomato)

5. Вона тебе врятує від дощу

І починається із букви…..   (U u, umbrella)

6. Це не баскетбол

І зовсім не футбол.

Лише сітка net

Потрібна у цій грі,

М’яч ball і дві команди teams…  (V v, volleyball)

7. Зима білосніжна

На букву цю зветься.

Чарівні і ніжні

Сніжинки в озерцях…   (W w, winter)

 7. Phonetic Flower (Сузір’я “X Y Z”)

     - The constellation X Y Z prepared the Phonetic Flower for you. Let’s

              read all sounds from the flower and guess the letters Xx, Yy, Zz.

              (Діти зривають пелюстки, на яких заховані букви. Називають букву,  

               звук).

 8. Summarizing. Phonetic Game.

     - Our travelling to the ABC Planet is finished. We come back to our

              native planet. The ABC Planet asks you to find all letters and call them in

              the right order. (Phonetic Game)
