Objectives :
Educative : to acquaint with new lexical units, activate already studied grammatical material, to develop ability of reading, writing, verbal communication;
Developing: to develop the logical thinking, attention and photographic memory, observation, perfect phonetics and articulation of sounds, develop verbal communicative abilities with support on evidentness; form an idea about development of the intellectually-cognitive possibilities, to show the ways of their realization;
Educational: to bring up the personal interest in the spread of learning, general culture of students.
Materials : textbook, cards with parts of body, dolls, monsters, video “Parts of body”

Procedure
1.Introduction
Greeting poem
Mind the clock and keep the rule

Phonetic limbering-up
Sound “w” -Play listening game. Clap your hands when you hear a word beginning with the sound “w”.
Wag, back, were, west, crate, wiggle, wax, house, motor, side, wise, wart, guard, wish, weed, middle, word, rabbit, way, pass, wolf, several, win, warm, bike, wool, war, lamp, water, window, drink.
Warm-up
Put on your jeans for fall,
Now it’s a cold to play football
Leaves turn orange, red, and brown
And they all are falling down
Winter, Spring, Summer, fall –
I like winter best of all.
-What is your favorite season? Why do you like it?
Aims: Today we start our subject about appearance of people, in particular those parts, which you have on your face.
II.Main Part
Presenting and practicing new vocabulary.
Read and drill the new words shown in the picture of a girl. (ex.1p.56).Look at the cards with parts of body and manage to learn new words.
Let’s play the game “True or false”. I’ll call the picture if the describing is true you will show signal “yes”. Wnen it will be false you show “no”. Who hasn’t the mistakes will be a winner.
Work in pairs and describe your friends. Use this is/that is…these are/those are.. Write down these sentences.
Listening . Listen to the dialogue (ex.2 p.56) and say what kinds of body can you hear in this task. Let’s recollect their names. Complete the chart.

Read the dialogue in roles. Use the cards with dolls and complete your own dialogue in groups. Represent them after.

Two little eyes to look around

Clap your hands and than sit down.
Reading.
What toys do you have at home?
Listen silently to the description and find true subject.
1.It is round. It can jump. We can use it to play football or basketball.(Ball)
2. It can fly. It’s type of transport. It is very quickly. (Plane)
3. It is a toy for boys. It’s type of transport.(Car)
What toy did we forget to describe? Yes, it’s a teddy bear. Let’s read the text about it. (ex.3 p.57) Let us read text all together. What parts of body has a toy?
Then pupils read the text in a chain. Ask to translate difficult sentences into the mother tongue.
Game “Microphone”. A student presents itself in a role of journalist and asks others about Tom’s toy.
III. Ending the lesson
Summarizing
Look at the video “Parts of body”. Brush up the words and describe the following heroes. Use as example the beginnings of the sentences from ex.5p.57
