розвивати навички усного мовлення, розвивати навички аудіювання з використанням аудіо- та відеоматеріалів,вміння працювати в невеликих групах та командах, формувати інтерес до вивчення іноземної мови за допомогою цікавих форм навчання, виховувати повагу до традицій святкування Різдва.
Обладнання : ялинка, прикраси, сніжинки, зашифрована тема уроку,мета уроку,слайди із лексикою, магічний мішок, малюнки зі словами,маркер,вірші з пропущеними словами, Різдвяний лабіринт,мішечок із малюнками для поділу на команди,(відео ) RING THOSE BELLS,відеозвернення Санта Клауса, лист до Санти,пакет із подарунками,караоке- пісня про Різдво і Новий рік,кросворд, Різдвяні слова з пропущеними літерами
