Тема: Free time.

Сфера спілкування: публічна.

Тематика ситуативного спілкування: громадські місця.

Мовний інвентар: граматика: Present Simple, лексика: різновиди проведення вільного часу .

Намір вчителя:

1. навчити учнів сприймати англійську мову під час прослухування;
2. закріпити вживання лексичного матеріалу теми «Hobby»;
3. удосконалювати монологічне висловлюванняучнів;
4. розвивати навички учнів в аудіюванні з метою здобуття необхідної інформації;
5. розвивати культуру читання.

Очікуваний результат:

1. вміє сприймати англійську мову під час прослухування;
2. закріплює вживання лексичного матеріалу теми « Hobby»;
3. удосконалює монологічне висловлювання учнів;
4. розвиває навички учнів в аудіюванні з метою здобуття необхідної інформації;
5. розвиває культуру читання.

Good afternoon, students, I am very glad to see everyone and I hope you are ready for the lesson.

Today we will talk with you about your hobby.

To begin with I would like to ask you a few questions :

does everyone have a hobby?

what types of hobbies do you know?

what do you like to do in your free time?

2. Аудіювання.

Listen to the text about three boys and their hobbies. While listening find the answers to the following questions:

 

1) When do children spend more time at home with their hobbies?

2) Who is interested in music?

3) What does John collect?

 

Hobbies

      It is winter (1) now. Children spend more time at home with their hobbies. Peter, Tony and John are friends. But every boy (2) has his hobby. Peter is a collector. He collects stamps (3) with animals. He collected a real zoo with many animals and birds in it. He also likes to read books (4) about animals. He has a dog and a white mouse at home.

Tony is interested in music (5). He collects tape recordings of jazz (6) concerts. Tony can play the piano very well. Now he is learning to play the guitar. He wants to be a musician (7). John doesn’t like to collect stamps or badges. He doesn’t go in for sports and doesn’t play any musical instrument (8). He collects coins. His coins can tell us about different people and different countries (9). John often says that his hobby is popular (10) with people of  all ages. He thinks he became more interested (11) when he began to collect (12) coins.
