Мета Aim:
Навчальна: формувати навички вживання нових лексичних одиниць з теми «Їжа» в структурах речень: I like ….. it’s delicious. I like …., it’s healthy. I don’t like …. I hate …. I don’t think it’s healthy; стимулювати комунікативно-пізнавальну діяльність учнів; формувати навички читання, аудіювання та письма.
Розвиваюча: розвивати логічне мислення , вміння послідовно висловлювати свою думку .
Виховна:виховувати свідоме відношення до вибору продуктів харчування.
Наскрізна лінія: « Здоров’я і безпека» - усвідомлення переваг здорового способу життя та безпечної поведінки;формування всебічно розвиненої особистості , здатної усвідомити пріоритетність здорового способу життя.
Ключові компетентності: cпілкування іноземними мовами, уміння вчитися впродовж життя, екологічна грамотність і здорове спілкування.
Очікувані результати: оволодіння новими лексичними одиницями в усному мовленні ,удосконалення техніки читання; оперування граматичним матеріалом.

PROCEDURE
I Beginning of the lesson. Greeting and aim.
T: Hello my dear friends! I am glad to see you. Welcome to our English lesson. Today we are going to speak about a very important part of our life. It’s food. Food can be both good and bad for you. But we cannot live without food. It gives us energy for growth, mental and physical work. At the lesson we’ll activate the vocabulary on the topic, develop our reading, listening, speaking and writing skills. You’ll find out what food we must eat to be healthy.
II Warming –up. Activity “ Name5”
T: Name five:
Things to eat (pizza, soup, sandwich, bread, cheese)
Things to drink (milk, water, coffee, juice,tea)
Things made from milk (ice-cream, butter, sour cream, cottage cheese)
Things vegetarians do not eat( eggs, fish, meat, sausage, ham)
Red fruit (strawberry, raspberry, apple, cherry, plum)
Yellow fruit (lemon, apricot, pear, banana, grapes)

1.1. Reading. Exercise1, page38.

T: Look at the pictures of food and drink once again and answer my questions:
T: How many meals a day do you have? What is your favourite food? What is your favourite drink? What is healthy food? What do you usually eat/ drink at home, at school, on picnic)
1.2. Speaking.Work in pairs.
T: Let*s speak about the food you like and dislike using the following structures:
I like…,it is delicious. I really like…,it is healthy.
I do not like…I hate…I do not think it is healthy./It looks greasy.
I can not stand….It is too hot./It is too spicy.
P1: I like to eat ice-cream, it’s delicious.
P2: I really like to eat fish, it’s healthy.
P3: I like fruits and vegetables because they have a lot of vitamins.
P4: I don’t like sweets.
P5: I like to eat yoghurt. It’s delicious.
P6: I hate a hamburger. I don’t think it’s healthy.
P7: I love to eat home – cooked food.

1.4. Work in pairs. Interview your friends about the food you like and dislike. (Exercise 3, page 39)

Olga: I want to tell you about my eating habits. As for me I like to eat vegetables and fruits because they have got a lot of vitamins. Vitamins are important for our body. My friends Alex and Andrew really like to eat dairy products because they give them a lot of energy.
My girlfriends Nicole, Iryna, Yulia have decided to eat less sweets, because they contain a lot of sugar and much sugar is bad for our teeth.
T: Thank you. . To my mind all your friends want to be healthy and try to eat the right food.
1.5. Grammar revision. Countable and Uncountable Nouns.
T: Let’s take grammar revision. We have countable and uncountable nouns in English. Countable nouns are those that can be counted.( one apple, two appes…) Uncountable nouns are those that can’ t be counted (water, bread, salt, sugar..)
Look through the ex.1.p.38. Find the examples of countable and uncountable nouns in it. Write the lists into your exercise book.
1.6.Work in groups.Рольова гра.(Три групи по 5 учнів. У кожній групі свій капітан,який виконує роль представника,що займається соціологічним опитуванням з теми “Food” Представники міняються командами і ведуть опитування.)

Do you take much sugar in tea and coffee?
How many sweets do you eat per week?
How often do you drink fizzy drinks, like Cola, Fanta or Sprite?
Do you like fruit and vegetables? (представники обробляють дані опитування і роблять висновок, який представляє капітан команди.) Учні дають поради,яку їжу слід вживати.
Read the pieces of advice what food you should eat.
You should/ should not…
Eat a lot of fruit and vegetables, because they have a lot of vitamins which are important for our eyes, skin, bones and hair.
Eat too much junk food as pizzas, hotdogs, hamburgers, because they are bad for your health.
Drink water, because it is important for our blood.
Eat too many biscuits or chocolates, because they are full of sugar and bad for teeth.
Eat healthy food. Eat less and more often.
Conclusion: Food is very important for us, because it helps us grow and gives us energy for our life. If we want to be healthy, we must eat healthy food.
Remember: Vegetables and fruit
For children are very good
Eat vegetables and fruit
And they will do you very good
Those who eat much fruit
Are in a very good mood
They are in a very good mood,
Those, who eat much fruit !
Healthy food + Sport =Our Health.
