The procedure of the lesson
I. Introduction.
1. Greeting.
T: Today we have guests at our lesson. Turn to them and greet them.
P-s: Good-morning, teachers.
T: Are you ready for the lesson? Let’s start our lesson with the song. Let’s sing.
(Singing the song “ Hello”)
II. Warm-up:
(The game with the ball. Throw the ball and ask)
T:a) ‒How are you today?
‒ What season is it now? Let’s revise the poem about the seasons.
Reciting a poem
Spring is green
Summer is bright
Autumn is yellow
Winter is white
b) ‒ Look at the window. What is the weather like today? Is it cold? Is it raining?...

III. Main part of the lesson
1. Aim.
(The game with the “ Magic Box”)
T: I’ve got a box. Do you like it? How do you think what there is?
P-s: Is it a pen? Is it a book?...
T: You can see a pen, a pencil, a book…May be you guess today the topic of our lesson is “ School things”.
2. Revising the vocabulary
а) the game with flashcards (What's this? Name and spell the word)
b) work on the sheets of paper (Circle and ask “ Is it a book/ a pen? Yes, it is/ No, it isn’t.)
с) the game “ Telephone” ( pupils stand in two rows. The teacher whispers a word to one child. He/she must whisper it to another child and so on until the last child have to write the word on the board.)
3. Physical warm-up.
T: Now, we have time to relax and sing and move.
4. Developing pupils’ skills of listening
PBp.25 Ex.3 (Listen and stick. Then circle.)
5. Developing pupils’ skills of dialogical speech
PBp.25 Ex.4 (Sing the song “ What’s this?”)
T: Put a pencil, a rubber, a book and a pen on your desk. And ask “ What’s this?”
P1: What’s this?
P2: It’s a pen. What’s this?
P1: It’s a rubber.
